Detsle, I did not bother looking at you profile to determine your location on this good earth. However, you may not be aware that on November 22nd 2012 Thanksgiving was celebrated [it is a national holiday here in the states]. Most companies besides retail, were closed for 4 days if not more. I guess what I'm getting at is, on November 24 Zubaz made you aware they have tested on XP and have been unable to reproduce. He also reported they are still looking. Give them time, it may be an iso
Yvonlebon47, I suggest starting a new thread as this one is quite old. Also, provide what OS you have and any recent changes you've made that may be causing this to not work as it did before...
That actually looks really nice bbr91. I totally dig the EU style front plate... [e digicons][/e]
My advice is, hang tight will sort things out. Allow them the opportunity to sift through the whole problem. JGivskud, I suggest you too contact support. Do not reply to the auto reply message [keep in mind, it may land in your Junk/Spam folder] dig it out and wait. Follow the instructions they give you. I hope your issues get sorted out and that peace be upon you...
The wife and I drive a 2002 Toyota Camry. It suffice our needs and the car is well kept. We also have a 2000 Nissan Altima, it has not been driven in about 3 moths. We do hope to be able to get a mini SUV in the next year or two. I'm thinking GMC, Chevy or Lincoln. The wife is kind of fixated on a Toyota. If you're married that translates to, I too am thinking Toyota...LOL We'll see what's available though??? The Volt deff looks nice. The wife's car before I arrived in PA
Wow! jrgrund, I think the OP was about Deskscapes and not the Object Desktop subscription dude...
I've always been a fan of your works Tom. I like it and when released, you can bet I'll be getting it. Great work [e digicons][/e]
@maqxaxe: I think this is the second or third time you come on the forums to claim you're parting ways with Fences because, of the issue you have. I'm thinking it took you about 50 seconds to type/open this post. If 50 seconds is way too much of a waste of your time? Remove it and be done with it. I'm sure you have more important things to do with 50 seconds. On the other hand, it probably takes another 50 seconds to write to support. Anyways, I wish you well and peace [e digicons
I don't believe it is supported for Win8. Maybe someone will come by and correct me...
Thanks Admin [e digicons][/e]
Dude, I wouldn't post my email in a public forum...
@maqxaxe did you reach out to support? You have another thread indicating you are uninstalling Fences yet on this latest post you indicate:
If no fix comes soon Fences will just have to go
Which is it dude? Give support a chance...
I feel for you dude...However, Zub did ask for your ticket number in this public forum. I don't see your reply to his inquiry, in an attempt to get your issue resolved. I do see your comment about customer service not being helpful, I'm assuming you meant to say Have you tried running as Admin? I can certainly understand your comment about, uninstalling soon but, give support a chance to try all they can. Keep in mind, they are closed on weekends and constant repl
I'm not in the IT field and don't claim to be but, if I was I'd be damn sure to use correct spelling [hint to self, that may be the cause of error messages]. Now, you failed to say what .exe file you tried to run and where you went to obtain said .exe file. If you don't provide details, support won't be able to provide assistance. I forked over what ever amount Stardock charged me and I'm not bitter about it. You know what cordelia0507, I'm no longer going to reply
LOVE IT!!! [e digicons][/e]
Oh, that's right YOU and One other person = YOU are not the only person. Hmm, I don't see any further questions from the OP creator as the OP was addressed and I'll make an ass out of myself and believe their inquiry was addressed and then some. Reply #4 says it all. Now, when it comes to a company's business etiquette, Who am I to dictate their business practices? Oh right! I'm a paying customer. Well, I'll just sit here and angrily complaint about every little thing
I'd like to see where Stardock claims Windowblinds works on Windows 8. YOU made the choice to upgrade to Windows 8 no one else. Own up to YOUR choices and decisions YOU make. If a claim by Stardock has been made that product X works on Windows 8 and it does not work for YOU. Contact support, I'm sure they appreciate positive/negative feedback...
Mad (=Good) props to Stardock. Keep up the good works [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e]
We all know that when it comes to 'ME' it's all about attention to 'ME'. I need immediate attention, and I will stomp my feet and pout like a 4 year old if 'ME' is not looked at or taken care of Immediately. Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen MY world is MY oyster...
Here's another spin on the same information: http://news.slashdot.org/story/12/11/10/013246/windows-8-defeats-85-of-malware-detected-in-the-past-6-months I agree, malware evolves and so do the defenses. If either one us are running Windows 8, then we have our own things to worry about [e digicons][/e] [e digicons]:t
live care free in the South of France
That explains a LOT!!!
C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\WindowBlinds
Anyone, correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't it be C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\Windowblinds???
Dude, really???
