I believe Start8 is a Win 8 only app. I'm pretty sure Object Dock is not supported for Win 8. I think there are a few post's asking if/when Object Dock will receive Win 8 support...
No thanks, I think that I will pass.
That is funny! According to your profile, you've been around since 2008 and in 2012 decided you would not buy a subscription. I spend 7 seconds in front of all the different bread-loaf selections at the supermarket and I start to get critical about myself...Wonder what 4 years of that is like?

You dropped 12 [bucks]+ Popcorn+ Soft Drink to watch this movie and walked out after 30 minutes??? The wife really wanted to see this flick but, the previews did not justify the 24 [2 tickets] and a #2 [one large popcorn and 2 soft drinks] 16 USD. Unless, it is already out on DVD. I looked prior to writing this post but, was not able to fin

For someone that has been having the same issue since Xp, I applaud your patience and support for a software company/provider that does not seem to fit your needs. Although, I feel compelled to think the needs differ from OS to OS. I'm not a tech savvy person and don't claim to be. I'm just a [apparently] pathetic end user who has no problem with/or forking over money to a company for the past 4+ years has made my experience that much more pleasant. I can't begin to fathom the

I think 'the cloud' was used as an example. As far as trusting anyone/no-one with your data? I found this interesting: http://tech.slashdot.org/story/12/12/12/1925240/ie-flaw-lets-sites-track-your-mouse-cursor-even-when-you-arent-browsing and this: <a href="http://yro.slashdot.org/story/12/12/12/0432217/how-websites-know-your-email-address-the-firs

If I'm not mistaken, v1 is not being supported any longer. You may want to shoot [email protected] a message? In my opinion, if you feel that irritated/outraged why even bother keeping the software on your computer? I think others have also mentioned looking for alternatives so, far I have yet to find a post with a success story...Good Luck!!!

This is my take on this now 9th page since the OP was created [it was a haiku about someone's displeasure with the Win 8 UI]. F Apple, F MS, F Droid F it all. You use what YOU use and like because that is your Effin prerogative. As a user of what YOU like, you do not need someone to impede on your liking. No matter what anyone says, if it works for YOU then YOU continue to use it. Stop wasting energy on trying to convince anyone else that what YOU like is what they should like. No matter
Could it possible be that my WindowBlinds and Firefox are installed on two different partitions or disk for that matter?
I think that is a crucial piece of information. I personally don't have much experience as far a solution goes. I do recall seeing in several threads that WB's needs to be installed on the C:/Drive [primary]. As to how that affects FF [if it's on a different drive/partition] again, I do not know how
I disabled all my plug ins and modules, although still same problem.
Oh wow! That sucks dude, I feel you. If you haven't done so already, shoot [email protected] an email and make reference to this post. Neil did post on it and He's the MAN when it comes to WB's. It may be something quirky and may have a solution. Just hang tight and give Stardock the opportunity to make things right...

I too use FF exclusively and don't suffer the same problems. I don't have any other customization plug-ins enabled on FF. I'm currently on 17.0. I'll load up 17.0.1 and post back...

Jaga Telesin, I noticed you've made a few posts about the issue you've experienced. In one post, you said it was 70 days, another 30 days and this one 40 days. It is the weekend and I'm sure one of your posts will be seen by someone that may have the capacity to nudge someone at support. Hang tight, and I hope your issue with Fences gets resolved...
You didn't confirm his theory that Stardock conspired to dupe people
I personally don't find it necessary to have to 'confirm' anyone's theory. Just because it's a theory doesn't mean it is a fact. How does someones lack of due diligence constitute a conspiracy to dupe the end user? Oh that's right, I need someone to blame for my mistake! That makes the world a better place...

paul86262, when did you first contact support? You may not be aware that multiple emails regarding the same issue, puts your ticket back at the end of the line. I strongly doubt Stardock would be able to stay in business if it was handing out viruses. It could be a false positive. As far as refunds go, I suggest you read this: https://store.stardock.com/policy.aspx Good Luck!

This may sound silly but, did you remove the free before installing the paid? Maybe try completely removing and re0install the paid. See if that helps? Support wwill get back to you. At the least, you should have received a auto-reply with a ticket number. Check Junk/Spam folder. Do not reply, until an actual support member replies...Good luck!
