I really liked Alpha Protocol, great storyline. DS1 was good, but I don't expect much from it, don't know what Obsidian can do with it.
One thing I really liked in GC2 is how AI are unique. It's not juste some architectural/tech difference between civs, but they act in different ways, like they have their own culture and objectives. You can produce a "perfect" AI, but without some personality, it won't be fun (in my opinion).
p.s. Hello to my friends on CanardPC.
Hehe, thanks we appreciate it. Some of us were wondering if it was you o
Maybe Thursday, or next week.
Yes it is. It's a FPS with RPG (Roll-Playing Game) elements.
Ahah. I recently read a comment about Alpha Protocol which make sense in this case : Justin McElroy, Joystiq: “ Much like obvious influence Mass Effect, whether or not your weapon scores a hit is more dependent on its accuracy statistic than your actual skill. Even if you line up your shot perfectly you’ll often whiff, especially in t
I liked the game. But right now it would be the DVD version, but only if it turns out to be true that Tages is removed with patch 1.1. Wikipedia has been wrong before.
That's true : http://anno1404.wikia.com/wiki/Copyright_protection http://forum
on the concept of not losing your sov you could have a tech that you build that allows you to imbue an artifact with your sov's essence so that when he is at deaths door it pulls him inside and slowly regenerates him. they take the city they take your sov's chance at surviving death until you reclaim the city. just an idea.
I like it :)
China have invaded Tibet, tried to colonize it, but Tibetan's culture still exists and they have more authority that other Chinese region. By the way, Tibet was military invaded and France was an European colonial power until WW2. I think The Empires can have a bonus when they besiege a city, so the enemy becomes more willing to surrender. But Cultural Domination, no.
Mike Capps is like Bobby Kotick (Activision CEO), the reason why gaming industry sucks.

Same problem. I make a few tests, it only happens next to the sea (rivers are fine since we can "cross" them) and never if the coast is 'straight'. Like that : http://pastebin.com/m50fb4429
There was 2 spiders on the same spot. The Sovereign was sober, I swear. http://pastebin.com/m50fb4429
I think it's a little premature to talk about army sizes, seeing as the combat in game at the moment . . . well, the developers have said it themselves in how many places now? It's not fun
I agree, we are only in the initial build. Keep suggestion on gameplay for later
And ZQSD [e digicons][/e]
Enemy's units are still in game and I can't attack them.
I had encountered the same problem. The next turn I moved my unit and try again, the problem disappeared. Perhaps some kind of pathfinding issue ?

At first i assumed that the "no fun" part was a bit low played, due to no game whatsoever . Now I guess that the starting position is offmap somehow.
Lol, I had exactly the same problem, and since that was my first try too, I just assumed there was really not fun at all [e digicons][/e]
Works halfway for me, I can return but without the cloth map :
