(471 / 30) Wow, I own every windows mod program from here and, today, I can no longer download anything without being a subscriber... \ Spent all the money for each one, not to mention all the skins I have bought for all of them over the past ten+ years. Well to keep it simple.. At $3 I would buy 5 of them but at the average of $6 I don't buy any. Because of this I have only purchased 2 of them and 1 icon suite. At $3 I would have bought just about everyone of them by now. look at when I joined the site, I'm not exactly a new guy.. I believe this can be said of most of the members here as well. And no, this should not be discussed between the members and stylers for the most part but it is a discussion you all should be having

I get were he is coming from, to bad most of you can't, nor can you seem to carry on a constructive conversation about the pricing. Well, it's nice to know that what was once a hobby, and something enthusiasts were into, has turned into full blown job for some. Nice.. I guess I will just just have to start creating my own stuff for Windowblinds, problem solved.. A nice grown up debate on it would have been nice though. The point I was trying to get across is that there is a fine line with pricing and that keeping things withing a certain price range will generate much more sales than if you go above that

You act as if there is overhead involved in creating these styles. Time is the the only investment when creating these so there really is no out of pocket for the most part.. You act as if a product is being physically manufactured. I would get into the economics of sales but I fear that it will mean nothing here.. I own all their games and all the products pertaining to windows 7-10 and yet I'm expected to pay for a subscription that would be totally useless to me to beta wb10. Whats interesting is that Virtual Customs has released full win10 themes that skin it all.. They have to be manually installed but work none the less. It seems that if the taskbar is the issue it should have been fixed long ago. I realize there is a lot to the blinds package, but as a dev I would have been working it throughout the beta so as to be ready when it rtmed. If one guy can figure it out you would think a team of devs would be way ahead of the game once 10 got here.

Start8 not skinning (solved) in WindowBlinds Stardock Forums

I just reinstalled win 8.1 and after installing windowblinds and start8, start8 will not theme with windowblinds. It stays with the one set in start8. I checked the settings and unless I missed something there seems to be a problem. I can't count how many times I've reinstalled them on my system and this is the first time I've had this issue.

live folders dispaying incorectly on the desktop. in IconPackager Stardock Forums

the live folders won't display correctly on my desktop. if i open the desktop folder under users they show up correctly there though if it is set to list.. if i switch it to medium icons it shows what the desktop does, the default manila folder.. i tried rebuilding the icon cache but it didn't fix it.
