I was one that pre-ordered War of Magic and felt hugely let down. I never did have a chance to play anything but the beta of FE, but after receiving an email that I had a copy of LH sitting waiting for me, I broke down and gave it a shot..... And LH has finally gotten that 'one more turn' feel that I never felt with the previous two incarnations. Its not a perfect game for sure, but I don't know of anything else quite like it, and am having a blast.

NP, thanks for the reply
For whatever reason, after I am away from my computer for an extended time (I think I have it set to 3 hours or something like that) and it goes into hibernate, many programs (including Elemental) become woefully unstable. I did not post this in the Elemental forums, because it has nothing to do with the software in particular, media player and such goes to hell as well. some programs are more stable then others. This is actually a problem that has persisted through two PC
(warning-mild spoiler alert....kinda) With the summoning spell book removed from all starting players, when you get to the point in the campaign where you are given the spell "summon whatever giant", Rilias (sp?) can not cast the spell because of the update-though the text in the campaign still refers to you being given the spell.

Some exposition with the killer man eating chicken screen shot would have been epic. [e classic][/e]
That option will be one of the difficulty levels on day 0. I believe it's tough or challenging difficulty- forget which one. I'd love for it to be labelled balanced or something.
Awesome! Look forward to it. Well, maybe someone can call it 'balanced' in a tool tip or something.... I'll probably get creamed the first few games
In this game, I’m slowly wearing Kraxis down. Which means I’m unhappy because it means I need to do more AI work. Bear in mind, when I play I play at normal where the AI gets the same resources. If I wanted to get creamed, I’d just push up the difficulty but I want the AI to be very intelligent at normal.
First off, I'd like to say how thoroughly impressed I am at (Stardock) y
I've played enough 4x games and such to know what I need to do, but there does not seem to be anything in game (unless its going to be part of a single player campaign or tutorial) and what I should be doing. I think for new time players, letting them know in game some victory paths would be useful. Also, I never feel at threat from the other players, nor would I know it if I were. Has their sovereign just started his adventure quest to end the game? H
I had over the weekend made one post and just updated it as I found stuff. Greyed out stuff that I had already reported. Is this format good? Or just make a new post everytime we find something new. Just don't want to make anybody's life any harder :) Example here- https://forums.elementalgame.com/388155 -Thanks
I updated, and greyed out the ones already reported. I am unsure as how this works best for the devs, to have a single post and keep updating it and have everything in one place? Or just create a new topic every time?
Note: Will continue to update as I find new stuff Technical- DX Invalid Call-caused game crash and forced system restart. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9159940/DX%20Error/debug.err http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9159940/DX%20Error/DxDiag.txt http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9159940/DX%20Error/Elemental0_90-
Would probably need Dosbox or some other emulator to run it at all.....I probably have the 3 1/4's buried in some box somewhere.....
When I 1st read a preview for Elemental, and its turn based strategic map and real time battle resolution (yes, I know this was canned)-I had a brief flashback of an old DOS PC game called Dark Legions. When just recently browsing through the Lore section of the official web side, and read about "orbs of power" and such, I again had a vintage PC game flashback (if you could call it vintage, whats the criteria anyway?). Don't flame me, I have played the beta for a couple of hou
