Not sure if this is any help. I to had a game from Sierra (half-life) the first one.. and it would not install on my XP Pro. and later on I had to re-install XP. so I tried to install Half-life again before installing SP2 and I was able to install the game. Note: this is the only game i have from Sierra and it is the only one that will not install IF I Have SP2 Update on my computer First. NOTE it is not A good ideal to use any other program other then WINDOWBLINDS for messing with the GUI as for the others MESS with your Windows system files. however the Skin you like you still mite be able to use, BUT you have to Convert it to a .wba at witch I think you have to use skin Studio. Try this Go to start Menu Click on RUN type in MSNCONFIG click OK (a new window will pop up) on the tabs at the top, click on STARTUP in the List look for "HID compliant mouse" (Note it may not say "HID compliant mouse" ) and then un-check it this will stop it from loading at start up..
