Thank you for this tutorial. However, it still doesn't explain how to setup the settings panel to allow the user to enable/disable certain animations. It also doesn't explain what SettingsName is. I am just trying to get a little bit of a deeper understanding of all of the settings that you have available for these hybrid dreams. The documentation doesn't mention one word on how you can allow the user to enable/disable each individual animation.

I found a way around it by doing the following... 1) Click on the Hybrid Content button and choose the .hybrid file 2) Click on the Dynamic Content button and choose the .hybrid file 3) Click on the Hybrid Content button 4) At this point Dream Maker will allow you to a

Now Stardock can get in gear with Windowblinds 7, but will they? lol If your an Object Desktop customer, the beta of WindowBlinds 7 will be released later this week. Read about it here [/quote] Awesome! Thank you for that update! I don't know how I missed it. Sorry for the snide comment there. :( I have been very frustrated lately and should not have taken it out on Stardock. You all are great an

I like this idea a lot. It is great to keep up with Web Standards and Technologies for sure. Frogboy, part of your article ("Instead, the site will feel more akin to a desktop application.") says to me that you plan to make use of Silverlight 2. I don't want to assume anything, so I will ask you, "Is that true?" If so, way to go! I really think that Silverlight is an important platform in terms of the future of the web. Keep up the great work guys.

Oh good grief! All of a sudden my screen name tells my personality!?! Besides, the screen name is Vista "CUSTOMIZER"! ;) I am no fanboy! That is for sure! I like the things that Microsoft does, yes. However, I like apple as well. :) Their stuff is quite awesome as well! :)

I like the new taskbar! Sorry, but that is just the way it is! LOL. Also, if Microsoft always caters to everyone that whines, they would never get any innovation completed! Don't trash it until you get the chance to use it! I really hate the fact that when Microsoft tries to do something right, users complain. However, when apple does something right, users claim they can't do any wrong! Ugghhh!!! Fanboys suck! LOL.

I do too pjdark! I don't get what people are complaining about here! I mean what the hell, people haven't even used the damn thing yet and think it sucks! How the hell can they know if something sucks if they don't use it? Also, they must not of watched the demos very close because the productivity increase is far more important than the look. :) I love the fact that it will be easier to get things done. Good grief complainers! Get a life! Programs are not all about look and feel all the time! W

Ah, it is so laughable! I sit back and watch people complain that Microsoft doesn't do anything right like apple. Now, they try to do that but far better and they still complain! Ughh! I give up! LOL. (:( Ok, so now on topic. I love the interface myself. It is a great improvement on Vista and prior Windows versions. For those of you that are concerned that you don't like the size of the new taskbar. It is still resizable. ;) Finally, Microsoft is headed in the right direction. IslandDog, Frogboy
