why is he setting hPrevInstance = to itself? If you read the comment in the line above, it is to prevent compiler warnings, i.e. the compiler was complaining it wasn't intialized or something.

Mine likes to flicks the opposite direction as I move and dosn't go left as well, though if I time it well I can get it to scroll left by stopping during a flick.

My netbook's resolution isn't supported (I didn't expect it to run) but 1024x600 should be somewhat reasonable >.> It's only 200 pixels short, and besides most games have 800x600 but if the engine will break with a wide screen resolution like that it's fine.
