Yeah, without good AI it wont matter what is in the game or what the game is for that matter. I don't play a game to just look at the pretty graphics. In any case I voted for the Master of Magic 2 option. But if they can get Fallen Enchantress ironed out then that would be a blessing.

give range an accuracy penalty the farther they are from target. Bows get acc penalty per space fired and magic ranged do less damage the farther away they fire. easy fix. As it is, late game ranged is mounds better than any melee. will help balance them with melee too. And of course having them ambush you is an option too.. but if you can see them on the strat map then how can they ambush you? :P

A good work around for cloud walk is make it where you can only port to places of safety.. for example 15 or so spaces away from any enemy. No more porting back to town when that Ogre is right next to your city and you attacking the same turn. You would have to port to your territory 15 spaces away from that Ogre... then walk your butt over there and pray you make it in time.

I know I bought WOM in 2010 or 2009 (Not sure if I pre-ordered or bought just after release) but when I checked the Stardock store there was nothing listed under order history. I can find my game on Impulse along with me product key though. Will I still get a beta invite? OR better yet, will I still get Fallen Enchantress? [e digicons]o_O[/e]

Frogboy, I found a bug (or something) in the tac battle AI. I was defending my city with my Sov, his wife, summoned minion, and a peasant with a staff against an overwelming force of spiders. (This was early in the game) On turn 1 of the battle, after I held my ground and let the spiders advance to my line, I noticed ALL of the spiders make a beeline to the right of my line where my wife was. She is unarmed and helpless so I ran her into the city behind the wall

Made it to turn 164. The game had begun to slow down between turns and then it finally died. Saw some of my spear men move, then it looked like it was just about to start my turn and it froze for a few mins. Couldn't alt-tab or anything. Well, I finally made it to turn 164 before the game slowed down and finally crashed. Never made it that far I think lol. I will post the debug.err in support. As far as releasing 1.1.. I just want a playable game with minimal crashing even if it means waiting for 1.1 until after Christmas. Don't get me wrong, I want to see all the goodies of 1.1 just as much as the next guy. But if it crashes then it is useless.

Long time lurker here... I just wanted to say that I think the changes look good. Shared mana pool might work out pretty good. But moving the elemental books to the research tree bothers me and could be good or bad depending on how it's done. I like diversity in a game. The more the better. Makes for better replayability. It may work out pretty good if, for example, you made each consecutive elemental book cost substantially more to resear
