Please help. Game crashes to Blue screen if i don't delete the Prefs file each time in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

The game works when i load a game or start a new game. But i have to get rid of the Prefs file each time before i start or my PC crashes to the Blue screen of death when i try to start a new game or load a game.
