I am currently offline at home and have been trying to play entrenchment offline. Unfortunately I had to reinstall (entrenchment) via impulse through archive files I kept around for just such a purpose (loading a game I purchased in case i was offline). Now, however, even though impulse remembers my CD key, it still won't activate because it can't reach the internet. How do I play this game I bought and have previously registered online, without being able to connect to the internet?

Well more skills for each Demigod won't fully address the problem. Really it's just the lazy way to add more content without worrying about graphics/animations. Sort of like how none of your purchased items have any visual indicators on your character. :P Part of my problem with the "just add more skills" theory, is that it doesn't allow for a clear split between the Good and the Evil. If there is only one character ever capable of truly playing the "Tank" role
Maybe you could get your someones sausage fingers inside that rig and reseat those card this sounds like a typical operator error. Or maybe your machine is telling you that you are not man enough to handle this game
People like you should be banned from these forums for being poor citizens. Thanks for the absolutely stupidest and most blithely insulting response I've ever gotten to an actual problem. &
Hmmmm. One of my machines is running an 8600GTS with a fairly aged CPU/MOBO combo (Pentium 805D, if you can believe it!). I've (correction, I HAD) been OC'ing the 8600GTS to 800mhz with no problems, and the performance increase was incredible - turning this old beast into q fairly decent gaming rig. One night, I played a few games of Demigod, and then decided to try out this game called Atlantica. I don't know if it was some sort of driver initialization conflict (
Okay, I am sure this has been brought up before, and somewhat thoroughly trounced, but I think that it's more important for longevity than some people seem to think it is. Basically, while there are "many" ways to play the current Demigods, the selection is woefully small. As an example, a Rook player who focuses on Towers of Light, and on his own add-on defenses will seem more similar to another Rook player who has focused on his Hammer Slam, than they would if they were both
I must have at least thirty .galaxy map files in my galaxy folder ... why do I only show 9 map choices in-game? If this is some sort of weird bug, is there somewhere that I can DL the original map files without having to reinstall (and thus reDL) Sins? This is a fresh install of Sins, with a few custom maps added (which, after not showing up in the in-game lists, I removed thinking that some sort of naming issue was causing most of my stock maps not to show up in-game either).</p
I have had to reinstall Sins 4 times now.
... which of course takes forever even at 400 kb/sec.
Sadly, because the game does not have auto-download for custom maps (Galaxy Forge-made maps and not "Map Designer maps), customs are almost never played online. Most games are played on the random maps and occassionally on a non-random standard map (ie, Razor's Edge, Maelstrom).
https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?libid=
How do I remove Sins from my registry? I installed Sins and Entrenchment and when I went to uninstall, I could uninstall entrenchment just fine (using the Windows XP - Control Panel- Add/Remove Programs method) but when I tried to uninstall Sins nothing would happen. Trying to use the Sins uninstaller didn't work either. Since I was trying to install into a different drive i decided to just dump the folder into the trash and hope that the reinstall would overright any reg
Diversity The number of skills on the two games has been compared based on the number of characters and I think this is a valid point. But what you need to remember is that 8 skills on a character in play tactis is increasing the possible combos exponentially. In DotA as you level up, you can have 6 possible combinations of skills per character (assuming sticking to 2 main choices until you max out) and since after one point you can't
This thread makes me curious - did anyone here play Darkness and Light ? I know, some people will be very negative, whatever. :P I know it has a lot in common with DOTA, but I have never played DOTA. The people I met in the DAL beta, most of them had DOTA experience, and most of those preferred DAL (well cause the ones that didn't, bitched and then left, of course!). Anyway, since I know from others that there were significant differences in g
Well, I can't seem to get the search function to actually bring up any results ... ever. I'm looking for a quick run through of the in-game map editor. Anyone know where to find one?
