As far as content, I usually have a good chunk of free time during the day when I can scour the net a bit to dig up the new previews, interviews, etc.. if you need someone to do that. So I guess.. forum moderator, mod section contributor (we really don't know much about this, but I'll probably end up writing some tutorials and such, dunno), news digger/poster? :P

About the only contribution I'd be able to make (eventually) is forum helper/mod helper (so uh, same thing I do for Sins, really). If that's something you need, I'm all for it.

Well I don't think the idea is to deny the fantastical units, only to make them truly fantastical that most Fantasy TBS games fail to do. Take HOMM, King's Bounty, whatever.. you can have your stack of cool looking demon things, but you don't get the sense of their awesome power when you can kill them by the 10s with your much bigger stack of . You don't really get the sense that the demons are powerful, nor do you really get the satisfaction of "Holy crap
You know, going all the way to Obama sounds a bit too extreme...Lame joke is lame. Grand conspiracy material, I tell ye.
Being a moderator can be very limiting to what you might WANT to say in a situation. That whole "being moderate" thing can suck.
Ahh, I remember once I was talking to Blair (Fraser) and we were joking about him living vicariously through my less-than-diplomatic posts since he couldn't do that :P Yeah, being a moderator isn't always what's it's cracked up to be. Being a regular poster you can can go quite far without breaking forum rules, but moderator
Cool. Thanks! Annatar11 is kicking my butt on points somehow. Every little bit helps. I figure one day they will be good for something. If not, braggin' rights are always in vogue.
Eh, until Elemental beta actually starts Sins forums are my lurking ground. Most of the karma I have visible here is from cross-forums. Nobody beats me on Sins, though :P
We made the trailer while organizing the screenshots (before anything was announced), thinking they were all going out at the same time [e digicons]:([/e] I promise more action in Trailer #2 (due around Beta1's release).
So you're saying we'll have to wait 8 months for another trailer? :P Barricade the doors, an angry mob will be there shortly. At least give us more screenies! :)
Nooo, why do you hate me Brad, why!?!
I actually like that. It's bothered me in games like HOMM/King's Bounty (I haven't played the original MoM, gasp!) that you basically just get random creatures in your army like it's no big deal. My army in King's Bounty can easily kill dragons by the 10s in a single combat turn. I think it'll be much more interesting if the magical creatures are actually, you know, magical - that is, rare but actually powerful! ;)

He just needs to give us his address. Among the vast array of various spams he will get, I'm sure *someone* will send a bottle of good booze to help cope with the situation.

I saw those kinds of UI mods already. It doesn't fix the core problem of it (which isn't the font/elements size) though :P The main issue is that there's too much tabbing through all the various little menus.

Your pre-order doesn't get charged until the beta is released. You would probably have to ask SD sales about cancelling it, but obviously that becomes more difficult since you'd already have paid for it by then. I would say wait and see. In the next ~8 months we'll have a lot more info about the game, and with each beta phase the window is open for about 2 weeks during which you can get into that beta phase until you need to wait for the next one. There will be a lot of impressions, s
You wont be charged for the game before it's shipped
He'll be charged when the first beta phase starts, that's how the keys are sent out ;) But yes, it will easily be possible to change your shipping address, you'd just have to contact [email protected] and they'll take care of it.

Haha. You should try Dead Space to desensitize yourself from anything VATS can throw at you :P My only real gripe so far (besides the UI/map) is that the minigun feels.. weak. I have 100 Big Guns, and I do about as much (or slightly more) damage with a Chinese Assault Rifle. Minigun's been my favorite Fallout gun since the body parts started flying off in the original games, so it's sad to see it doing comparable damage to an assault rifle in FO3 :(
I agree with the maps being pretty bad. I'm finding them nearly useless. I'm only really using them to check where the marker is I want to go to. They're pretty useless for navigating otherwise.
The world map is horrible for navigating, definitely. It doesn't show you any features or paths at all, so I only use it for orientation. The local area map, when zoomed in enough, helps a little more with navigation. It's actually fairly useful inside buildings/tunnels, but si
