I'm having trouble expanding in the early game because often good city spots have giant dragons or something nearby that rip me apart early game, yet the AI has no problem walking up right beside it and settling a city like their best buds. I played for a few more hours after I took this screenshot and the same thing is still going on, dragon chilling out, attacking me if I come close, but not attacking the AI. Or is there some kind of dragon taming spell early game I don't know of?</
