One of the biggest problems about transparency with regards to AI rules is the players ability to manipulate the loopholes in the rules. I do not doubt that transparency does help identify bugs and determines whether the AI is playing by its set rules. But if you knew exactly what the AI will do, then you lose some of magic of what the AI is going to do if you do X. Once this is all revealed you lose your title as player and move into

Thats one of those things where, while it may not be high on the list of priorities, would be extremely quick and easy to add with a good UI backend.
If we are making a wish list, how about a favorites list or a bar like on the tactical screen for spells. That would be really helpful.

Can I prove my point? Of course I can. Every game comes with a set of rules (even asymmetric games that pit different forces against each other, like AI wars). These rules should be transparent, unambiguous and clearly underst

Your thread is not one of the ones I was referencing. I liked it and think it was quite helpful and to-the-point. I don't think it is the end of the world, just wish people would strive to accurately note what it is their thread or post is referring to. Repeatedly using "cheat" could make someone...defensive in impede communication.

Hi, I try to be accurate, especially when giving feedback to developers in a game I am playing. One thing that has bugged me for a while here on the forums are statements the AI is "cheating". The only definition of cheating that comes close to what I believe players mean is the one that says "to violate rules dishonestly". The AI dos violate rules (covered below) but is not dishonest, it is just an AI. I do not feel Frogboy is dishonest either, but saying his

I don't see it in the manual or Hiergemanon? Yes, it is a pretty big oversight that it is not mentioned anywhere. But basically it means, that the XP gets divided by the amount of champions in the party. Two champions mean, that you only get half the XP, three champions mean one third, and so on. Regu
First I would like to say great job with the over all improvments of the game... I loved the concept of war of magic and thank you by doing right by us the gamers and fans! Anyway, the bug I encountered is when you try to manually end your turn (several turns into the game) the game seems to "lock up". I am still able to move map, zoom, select units. I have tried several ways to get around this "issue" however most of them lead to "game not
Ophidian's deadly bite trait is a bit overpowered. Can't dodge it, block it, etc.
IIRC it can only be used once every couple turns. That means you either get some armor, sacrifice a unit, or control range so you hit first and hopefully kill it before it can retaliate. I personally don't have any issues with that unit, or the other ones that share the same or similar abilities.

Minor Bug: When you get "Tactics II" the tool tip says it gives you +1 to init, which is in addition to the +1 from the first one. When you mouse over the skill on your hero it still only says +1 however instead of the cumulative +2 which could really confuse people. The bonus DOES appear to get applied.

AFAIK, no there isn't. The editor lets you make new kingdoms, but not edit those either. Once you make one you are stuck with it unless you delete it. However I do write my custom kingdoms text and custom Sovereign text blocks in notepad. You can't copy them from the game interface but you can copy TO the game interface.
