Next time you try an out-of-context stunt, I'm going to string together every post you've made here to show you're a handmaiden for the Gay Mafia. HAHAHAHAHAHA Wheel, if you seriously can, and have the time to do that, please do. It would make my day. And, I apologize if I took your point out of context. I wasn't attacking you o

Since I have a mod that doesn't allow me to play in the Metaverse, this is the point where I go, "I AM TEH WINNAR!" and start a new game or go to sleep cuz it's 5 in the morning and i have work in 4 hours. However, I have had a personal grudge against a race that's angered me before, in which case I make peace for as many planets as possible (at this point quantity not quality). Then, while at peace, purchase their own transports from them since you should have a huge bankroll at this p

As for your view of Europeans,,I should point out that it makes as much sense bunching us all together into a homogene group as regarding everything from the polar escimoos down to the Latino states as a single entity. You do it for Americans period end of sentence -nnullvfourkfournthree roflcopter

Couldn't 5 or 6 full time testers find this stuff pretty fast ? I would think they could find issues faster than can get fixed at this point at least. So why go to beta if internally you find enough problems to keep coding ? (and I don't see hardware problems being an issue for an expansion.) <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=

Ok, let me start by being polite. Mr. CommanderFutility sir, will you please get off of your knees, as i believe everyone on the stardock team has recieved their copulation from you. Now, if you would be so kind as to 5 7 |= |_| I would really appreciate it. You are committing a logical fallacy known as Ad-hominem. You are attacking character and not addressing the issue at hand. And, I'm sure you've heard it a million times, but fighting on the internet is like running in the speci

Given that many of the people I see screaming about "bugs" can't even write a 3 paragraph post without spelling and formatting errors, it makes me wonder if they are even aware of what software development involves. Hey, I resemble that remark! That's why they have those flashy IDE's for us people who are prone to mistype. Less than

You realise they're actually looking to employ experienced developers, at least last time I checked? Ya, but being dug in @ a job paying for ur schooling all the way in PA makes it difficult. Plus my expertise aren't in gaming, but these are just general software development comments. But source is asking for a bit much with the xml mod

and it probably wouldn't (correct me if I'm wrong) have taken too much extra effort in the first place Although it sounds like you have no software development experience, you do have the right idea. When you have your base design you make it in a way that allows change in certain directions so it will be easier later. The trade off is that flexi

I concur. I've thought this would be useful many times. The governors are a wonderful idea and save lots of time, any new ones would be of great help. It would also be nice to have an "auto launch" governor done by ship type as they complete, even though that would probably run outside of the scope of the governor's current capabilities.

I'm hoping that this is not more than a one-hour-job Why do i have a feeling this is coming from somebody who would take 3 hours to write "hello world" in a new language? By the way, is there any feasible way for a developer to get a hold of your guys source or an engine? Obviously it's not an open source project, but the more I think ab

I mean, you can already through cheat swap the active players, only thing missing is diplo interface and a few tweaks. I'm actually gonna stand up for StarDock on this one. It's not as easy of a change as yall think. When having more than one active player it adds a lot of special cases that need addressing that aren't already. F

Until this problem gets fixed (if ever), just stop exploiting it if you don't want to cheat LOLOL, i'm sorry, i didn't realize this was "cheating". Yes it's lame, but definitely not cheating. I just like to bring up points where the AI can be improved by intelligence mechanisms, rather than boosting all of it's abilities. Wouldn't it be fun if su

It's your game. If you want to ruin your enjoyment by doing that, that's certainly your right. You're right, it is. But aren't modifications to the AI made to improve it and make it more realistic. You guys improved the trade module since 1.0 not allowing me to purchase mining starbases, for example. I understand that this is a slightly more comp

Exactly how. And make sure before you gift that your Trojan's are doing some major damage to your economy. If you do it slowly they'll be able to adjust economically. Basically the idea is to give them a fee they suddenly can't handle. Their treasury dumps, citizens get all pissed off, and it finally says "well i'm not smart enough to regift, so let's go to war to get rid of these beasts!" And when empires are locked into war, that's the perfect time for the influence rush. Their economy is not

You don't give away your whole army silly, just Efrum the retarded rabbit and his army of illegitimate inbred offspring. I obviously build my legion of Navy Seals to defend first. You have to realize, the only reason your armada should ever "cap" is due to ship maintenance costs, which can be thousands of bc. Oh, btw, when i first deployed this strategy, i was playing nine opponents on a gigantic map on Mao. Was going for an influence victory, and oh boy do planets start flipping when your influ

Why does the AI never refuse a "gift" trade? This is by far one of the easiest exploits of peacefully destroying an opponent. Just build a lot of expensive maintenance ships, i.e. a Massive ship with like 6 particle beams, that are in essence useless, and gift them to the one with the strongest economy. Then just go to the graph and watch their econ PLUMMET! Eventually things get so bad (and they're "military rating" lolz gets so high) that they start declaring war. Will it be on you? Not likely
