It's not clear to me how the current method of hero selection is any more random than the previous one. In FE, you just tend to recruit the heroes who happen to be nearest to your start point, which is not something you have control over. In LH, you at least get to decide between two options when you recruit them. Personally, I think the LH way is preferable. On the subject of randomness, it may seem a bit silly, but I quite like the idea of giving the option of the computer creat

I've had a couple of playthroughs of LH and really enjoyed them. All the game needs now is invisble flying warships and it'll be as good as Master of Magic! Two observations: Mounted units with charge and crushing blow seem overpowered and the spell of making victory has seemed like by far the easiest option on every playthrough I've had in both FE and LH. I may start turning it off.
Thanks guys. I was playing on auto turn and pressing the end turn button solves the problem. However, I'd still like there to be a way that I can continue playing on auto turn with some cities idle (like in Civ 5, when you can set them to research etc.). Having said that, I actually really like the fact that you can't move units on auto turn when you haven't assigned a task to a city. For me, this small change makes the difference between the game being play
This is probably a dumb question with an obvious answer, but is there a button to set a city to idle? One of my cities has exhausted all of its build options and I don't want to train anything there. However, I can't move my units when "Zzz" is displayed next to a city.
I'm enjoying FE so far, but there is one little gripe that has continued to bug me since WOM. I really wish we could have a clearer notification that a city has finished its training/building queue. I know that you get a little message on the top right of the screen and a "zzzzz" next to the city's icon on the left. However, these are both very small on a 1920x1080 screen. If I'm preoccupied with questing or fighting battles, I very often fail to notice them (especia
Now I'm confused. I've turned the mini-map off and the icons still show up. Maybe I just didn't notice them before. The icons look quite small on a large monitor, but I can't believe my eyesight is quite that bad!
Thanks cpl_rk - that's really helpful. I had the mini-map turned off and the icons didn't display.
This might be a dumb question, but is there any way of receiving more obvious notification when a unit or buidling is completed (as in Civ 5 or Galciv 2 when the little messages drop down the right hand side of the screen). I often end up constructing/training stuff and then forgetting about it, especially when I have a large number of settlements and when automatic next turn is switched on. I then end up with units sitting around for several turns doing nothing (especially annoyin
