Happy Independance Day to all in th US! Hope you enjoy!
I'm South African, but I would like to travel. I would visit America because of the people only. People tell me how bad America is because of 'Bush' etc. I really can't listen to them anymore.
Oh, I didn't realise that Thanks for the help...
I can't see anything major here. WB still rocks. If Vystal was good, it would be erverywhere on the net.
I donno if yr still checking out this post, but I wanted to ask you which programming langauge yr using. I am a programmer myself. I am still a beginner but I tend to catch on very quickly. Thanks
Looks good, strange idea this bubblewrap - but I have to admit that when I was young I also popped bubble-wrap!
Getting back to the word Vista ... don't you think that they should have kept the name Longhorn? An also Windows Vienna. That should have stayed Windows Blackcomb.
Hi Guys, I know I haven't posted anything in a while, but I just wanted to query on something. I have noticed that Wincustomize don't support Styler Toolbar. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do you think that it should be here? I think it might be a nice idea. I have seen some really nice skins for it, you guys are good at skinning. So, I can't see where the problem is. Thanks. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 align="absmiddle
I don't have Vista myself but I have used it and do have full access to it. I much prefer it to XP, in fact it's the best I've used! XP will still have a few features that will always beet Vista, but they are very small and probably don't make a difference to most people. I really like the search feature in Vista, it's really quick. Some games have difficulty playing, but that's not the end of the world. I don't always play games anyway. The new explorer is also great.
Hi, it might be a good idea to have a panel on the left hand side (or wherever you want) that contains recent documents and favorite links (as used in Windows Vista). There have been a few other things that I have been looking for, so I'll create a list and send it later. I'm in SA, so later is very relative. Oh and to mschleisner, epyk is talking about Windows Explorer, not Internet Explorer, I Think. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 align="ab
I read an article quite a while back about the same thing, however it involved things that had to do with the average human being able to see his computer screen adapted into vision as an overlay. It was something really complicated. I think its freaky.
My Prob with SS is the fact that half the services don't work on some of the Computers I install it on. It nags me too much. Slightly too slow, and it's layout is not all that great either. Although it does the job with no problems, the skin eventually comes out right. Oh and not all of the utilities are easy to find. I haven't used it much, but as far as I know it's progress is good - and it's coming a long way.
Hi Life is a Game, A visual style is the standard theme that XP uses. Its' file extension is .msstyles. But don't worry I'll make another post about it later. Your style is looking good! I would download the Beta version of your skin bu I'm having a few problems with my software, and I also need to get updated versions of Stardock software, need to buy them - which is a problem because I'm in SA and I have no credit card or anything, so I'll have to make a plan. But the pre
I have to go now, will check this post tomorrow, or which ever one has my answer - from anybody:-) Good Luck with the rest of your Skin! [Chow4Now]
Nice Job! Just want to know something - Do you know of any good programmes that create Visual Styles for XP? I haven't made a skin before and I've said to myself that I should start from the basics (VS) I posted a forum earlier but a lot of people are from the US and are sleeping, so their was no reply. SkinStudio doesn't seem to have a VS utility and I'm only using the free version at the moment anyway.
