Can I get a answere to this question? My internet connection is so slow, its easier to get a answer instead of downloading SkinStudio. I want to start off fresh, editing the Vista look (not the Diamond skin).
I would like to know if SkinStudio 6 is planed to support editing of Window's own default Vista look? I would like to start from scratch, and maybe not edit to much. Every skin I see here does not fit my taste.
If I am not mistaken, did not SK5 have a XP theme you could edit? Will SK6 have a Vista theme (actual basic looking Vista) you can edit? I would like to change the Vista look a little bit, because I searched for hours looking for a theme for my Vista operating computer, but I can not find anything I like. When I click to create 'New Skin', it gives you the Diamond skin to edit.
Good greee, this always happens. No, I want to edit off the default Vista look, not that Diamond skin. Thats how it should be in my opinion anywase, if I click "make new skin", it should start off with the base Vista look. Wish I could get my money back.
I remember in the past skinstudio professional that you could choose 'windows XP' default theme, and edit it; however, I am unable to edit the default look of vista in skinstudio 6 [beta]. Well, it makes since on their part. Adblock plus is a excellent extension (I use it), but a potential problem for websites with advertisement used to support the site. Do people really click on advertisement links Web Developer is also very good. I would also recommend Wizz RSS ( Sage as a alternative) as a good RSS reader.
How does that link help me skin?
Well, I spent countless minutes/hours viewing (why does wincustomize only put 8 skins on each webpage...biased towards high-speed users ?), and downloading/installing skins only to be disappointed and annoyed by something (either its design, hard to read text, or something doesn't work). I really want to use that theme, because it is very efficient looking, and techy ; everything else I see has some ugly glow color, or the text is very light and hard to see..why is this so hard.

Thanks for improving this little annoyance; however, the my video image folder is not showing, but rather just the typical document folder . I guess I wont worry about it; maybe I will get Vista when its first Service Pack comes out.

The icon is the "My Videos" in package XPlastic v.20. It remains when switching packages, restoring default, and so on. Version 3.19 Iconpackager, and it is registered.

My Video folder will not change to default, or any other icon. Also, why is it that the 'My Music' 'My Pictures' and 'My Documents' folders are in the preview and icon view area, but not the 'My Videos'? I wish I never found you guys..
Zaknick, try ticking the load up at start in both client mode and builder mode, I've found occassionally Ive had to tick off both. I've tried that before, and again. I've tried using other skins. I get some paging error pop up. I'm not sure if I can wait another day for input, this is oddly frustrating. Thanks for your input. *

I installed, and used a couple of DesktopX themes; however, after I restart or start up my computer it doesn't load the theme automatically. I even checked the option to use the them when windows starts.
