I crashed on the army management screen. I just noticed this feature. Also I noticed the interface is very laggy. Guess it's not that laggy just operator error.
Illauna
I don't remember what I was doing when this crashed. Here is the log anyways.
I noticed when the animation speed is set to 1x the tactical scroll speed is very slow. When animation speed is set to 5x the scroll speed is very fast.
This was for a game design class.
I was flipping through my notes preparing for my final and thought I would post this. Here is a couple scans of my homework assignment from very early this year. I chose to do this excercise with Fallen Enchantress. We had to come up with new features and sketch an interface for it. This is by no means a suggestion for Stardock to do (unless, they actually want to :D) it was a quick exercise for my game design class. Feature Idea Map <img src="https://dl.dropbo
Quoting Bigorra, reply 8I have never tried Kotor... Don't spoil the plot, and get it. I'm sure you can get it super cheap digitally now, or with a huge pack of older Star Wars games for $20.
If you are running Windows 7 (no idea about 8) there are some good resources on the lucasarts.com for getting the game to run stable. If you have an old XBOX (I don't have a 360 so couldn't
Anyone still play endless space these days? How has it progressed since release? I have not played it for a while.
I believe that both approaches are fully compatible. Imagine that you get that new spell (or decide it's moment for a change of strategy) and from that moment you want to start using a spell. What would you do with the current system? Go pick the "new" spell and set it as favourite. With the dynamic system you could so the same and force that spell to become favourite. As you would continue using that spell, the dynamic system would
Nope. Brad stated that he wont code a single new line for the FE AI coz he is pissed that people still complain about a number of flaws it still has. He stated that if you don't like it the way it is then go fuck yourself and don't play his game although you have paid for it. Which is by the way the same thing that happened when folks complained about the GalCiv AI... Also - like you stated - he si busy d
Hehe I don't see anything wrong here. If I want peace I first try to get away with it for free. Then I spice up the deal.
Might and Magic Heroes 6 had this and it was useful. Even you likely only had like 3 spells the whole game. I second this.
The AI does not perform immunity checks before attacking. I know this has been reported numerous times before and there are numerous examples of this ... here's one: AI Dragons breathing fire on my fire elementals has no effect. P.S. I assume this will be even more important in LH with things like immunity to physical weapon damage so please FIX IT!
This is how you get immediate action on something
This is a game where you really have to play with the hand that is dealt to you. Here are some random tips that work for me. - I set the tax rate to none, start civics and as soon as I can I convert my first city into a town or a conclave. In this city I reduce my unrest to zero and get the pioneer build time to a reasonable level (3-5 turns) then I pump out a scout or 2 and start them heading towards my hero and champion. Because of their explorer ability the
Rule # 1 - Make sure your software is up to date. Will be a sec.
Alright, I'm going to do one soon. This is going to be mostly a test run to see what changes I need to make. Will be boring to watch and I wont be doing commentary, or may do some post production.
It looks good. I'd love to see City level ups have the same kind of path choices as heroes, so you can see how to plan your city specialization.
Frogboy your team created a monster next we'll be asking for talent trees for gem sockets in our weapons. :D
I have never seen a game get this many complaints..!!!!
Not taking sides but people kinda have it out for EA and DRM. Spore got over 2200 negative reviews until Amazon pulled them and reposted it. I've played the new Sim City and the game is awesome...provided you can get online, which will change.
I'm going to retract my statements here not because I dont agree with them but my comments are a bit pointed.
Always game for a new strategy game.
The game looks beautiful! I am really happy with the hero recruitment and the tactical battles seem better (though clearly the game need a better UI clue for when a unit has ranged attack -- how frustrating it was watching you end-turn on your fire-mage). Is it too late to make a common-sense UI suggestion? Watching your play-through, there's an issue with flavor text dialogs breaking the flow of the game. Fla
Quoting attackdrone, reply 5 Quoting carn112004, reply 2 It already sucked in Civ 1 and it took many iterations (i think some patch Civ 4) to stop. If you can't increase or decrease production turn-by-turn, there is no need to worry about production overrun. In Civilization, the player would have a small incentive to change production to trade / food
Yep, if you go with this idea please make a button. I loaded up Master of Magic and forgot that at the start of the turn it moves all your units. I just lost a city because of it. Damn you Horus! Oh Phantom Warriors are still a PITA.
I'll first point out that I am not an expert player but I feel like doing some live streaming of Fallen Enchantress to improve my play with live critical chat as well maybe point out a few things. Anyone have an idea of what they would like to see let me know. If I do stream it will be on my twitch account http://www.twitch.tv/illauna and youtube http://www.youtube.com/user/Illauna . Feed
You can make less cities and more outposts to get around the cap. No one said you have to put a city in every single tile your are able to. In my opinion the cap is a good thing. I personally reroll games were it looks like I'm going to be stupidly overpowered from the start. I find play throughs boring.
What about if you have a hardcore mode, and the game crashes? How does the hardcore mode keep the one and only save up-to-date?
In XCOM it saves after every single action and the player is only able to access this save from the main menu. There is always a risk of the game crashing during a save and corrupting the autosave, however.
