A: Not at its normal levels. I’ve been working very hard to make the game play the game just like a human being does. However, I will have higher difficulty levels where the AI gets “stuff” for those who end up better at the game than I am. We will, however, be continuing to enhance the AI long after release as we did with Galactic Civilizations.
AI gets "stuff" for those better than you at the game. So yo

It's not like we're going to see a demise in home PCs and laptops, since people still want something with a large screen, keyboard and some form of Office on their computer. Gamers are not going to give up their machines. Power users will want something that has a keyboard and all those programs they need (compilers, LaTeX, VMs,

Most people hate having to call the geek in their family to help them as much as we hate having to go over to their house just to get their computer back in shape (just os they can get their email and get on facebook). Copyright laws grant you a monopoly over distribution and use of your works but impose a limit on how much time you have that monopoly before your work becomes public domain. You can't decide to have it expire later than the maximun time allowed by law. Though, for practical purpouses, you
How simple would you like the answer?....this one is a no-brainer. It is about the authority/permission to provide the access. The author/publisher allows THEIR IP product to be 'distributed' via a Lending Library. The Torrent/warez/pirate site does NOT have the author's/distributor's permission to distribute. COPYRIGHT, people. Look it up.
Wrong, libraries don't need author/
You are an idiot. Copyright laws promote knowledge and progress by insuring writers can profit from their work. The ability to make a living at it is what gives the writer the ability to continue writing. Your country's lax copying laws and taxes on writable media achieve the same purpose, just in a highly socialized way. Under your system it doesn't much matter how popular your work is, you get a share of the tax reve

Your view doesn't hold much weight. Legally there are differences, but only in terms of scale and severity of punishments. I bet people overjoyed about Newzsbin dismissal are not Usenet users. They consider beneficial the part about making copyright infringement harder and they are not affected by the shutting down of the legal uses so it's good overall for them, that legitimate users are harmed because of this is of little concern. For legitimate Newzsbin users is the other way. The harm to their legal activities is perceived as bigger than the benefit they get from making copyright infringment harder. T

I'm not defending the comercial viability of Newzbin but the moral and legal right to provide a communication channel. Like the one provided by Newzbin and other Usenet carriers. If a million users post 1KiB legal messages and a thousand users post 9MiB messages containing copyrighted material then, yes, 90% of content, as measured by storage of bits, would be copyrighted material. But it's just 1% of users doing copyright infringement while the large majority is doing perfectly legal

No - but don't be surprised when a lot of material is not available in your location.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by "Under US laws, probably". I am not under US laws. It's like saying submarine zebras probably prefer cold pastures. I have to agree with Raven X. To defend the eradication of Usenet is to defend censorship.

In my country, Spain, after the modification of the Law of Intellectual Property (Ley 23/2006) it is legal to make copies of literary, artistic or scientific works without authorization from the intellectual property holders under the following conditions : Made for private use. The device is technically excellent. And is much more usable than other gadgets by clients with low technical knowledge. Which means a huge yet to be exploited market. The potential for success is enormous. Apple's closed enviroment is actually good for many uses. In detail : 1.- Will I be limited to changing numbers in that XML file with the actual AI implementation being unaccesible in the game executable? Or, will I have full access to the game state visible by each AI player in python and control over all possible actions an artificial player can do? 2.- Will I be able to read and write external files from python?
