OK! after more then a few hours of playing ( hey needed an excuse to stay up and check out the lunar eclipse last night) I am ejoying myself! I have had no CTD, I only had one memory leak issue or something to that effect. Just loaded a saved game and I was good. I do see some of the " there is hardly any magic in this game.." side of the argument. I want to see the fireball expload and do area damage..lol. But I do see the balance of magic/research/weapons..sort of thing.

Overall what won me out was two things. 1.)Stardock is all over this game to make it great...and I am loyal Stardock customer ( gal civ 2, sins ). They have not let me down. The responce on this forum is also part of this, the people on this forum are extremly helpful. 2) I cant get over the graphics. love it. I am a sucker for this kind of thing. I was all over the game borderlands and I am not all that into FPS. but sin

again thanks for the replies.... Sir_Linque hit the nail on the head. I want the game but looking for something to play during the next two weeks. I just found Fallout New vegas in the closet...sorry wife....so looks like I will have something to occupy my time, after christmas anyway. ( I swear I wasnt looking for my present...was looking for a jacket...really[e digicons]:grin:[/e] ). It kills me because this game looks exactly like the games I like. I can wait a bit though.

thanks for all the quick replies! I completely agree with you aeligos. This is a major buying point for me. the forum is friendly and the devs do respond well also. I think this is one game I will be purchasing ( with the free expansion and the money off limited edition box plus doenload ). besides i have the next 2 weeks to mess around with the game. again thanks for all the quick replies!

would you want them here? look at our history....."explorars" from the old world to the new world...didnt work out so well for the natives. aliens coming here....prob turn out the same way

first post! I have been watching this game for quite some time. I know a lot of people were not happy with the it when it first came out, which stopped me from buying it. now thaat 1.1 is out...is it worth it yet? I do not mind giving stardock/impluse my buisness...they have not let me down yet. I have a multitude of their games and have enjoyed all. So.....is Elemental ready for me yet? I have plenty of time...Got to love christmas leave. thanks!!!
