The unit looks great, the ground looks tolerable by itself, but together there's a huge detail mismatch that looks jarring. You have this crisp clear unit sitting on top of this muddy ground texture. It makes either the ship or the ground look out of place vs the other.
Is there any source that can provide stats on usage of >60Hz monitors/GSync/Adaptive Sync? I know they're still very uncommon, but they make a big difference and they're being pushed by a lot of monitor makers. It's a pity that the Steam, Unity, and now GalCiv III hardware surveys don't have any information on it.

Hi, I recently upgraded my GalCiv2 (boxed copy, UK, paradox) to Dark Avatar via Stardock Central. As I had just reinstalled GalCiv2 (and I pay per MB to download) I didn't have any of the previous Dread Lords updates installed, and didn't want to waste bandwidth with something that would probably just be replaced by DA. After installing Dark Avatar I tried to run it but whenever I would go either to the Options screen or try to start a new game, it would just crash. Af
