I don't even use Teleport. For that matter, I barely use magic at all. I have yet to actually imbue a champion....actually, I haven't quite figured out how to use champions...I just stick them as city guards for new outposts... I guess what I'm saying is: I'm doing it wrong.
Obviously, I have absolutely no idea what kind of QA system you have in place, but perhaps, in addition to internal QA, you should release each patch as a pre-release version for a week or so before making it final. I'm sure there's enough folks that would play the pre-release patches to make it worth the effort. Yes, patches that fix important issues will take longer to come out causing the current breakages to remain longer, but you'd have a much higher chance of not accidentall
Last night I noticed that the AI doesn't appear to understand the concept of resource limitation. He was functioning on -1260 gildar and kept on expanding further and further. At least, according to the diplomacy screen he had -1260....whether that affects other resources or whatnot, I dunno, but it is rather obnoxious.
