Erebus is like the Rogue class from WoW. Everybody played one and everyone thought rogues sucked. But out there somewhere is a guy who truly gets how the rogue class works. And can cheese you all day with it and beat you while naked if he wanted. My rogue example was true, maybe not true for Erebus in the "while naked" part, but this is how I see Erebus.

A ban list shouldn't be about noobs. We have to teach them to become good or we become DotA. I have no problem against a ban list that is for rage quitters and "haha, look how great i am" players. If this list ends up becoming a joke, ill remove it from my list.
quoting postDemigod Ban List (Allows you to make a ban list of RAAAAAGE quitters and ass holes as well as view a global list. Global is under construction at the time of this post.) *sigh*
I thought the same thing. But it's nothing official. You can do the same with pen and paper, this is just a site that allows such. You should have nothing to worry about. Right?
Following the logic of abilities picked almost every build, we must nerf: Sedna's Heal Rook's ToL Unclean Beasts Spit, and apparently Foul Grasp Regulus' Snipe TB's Circle of Fire Queen of Thorns' Bramble Shield Erebus' Bite - because regardless of taking 125 hp less and 100 armor less at the max level, it is still an essential item to almost every build.
Sorry it took me a bit to get to this. Between forgetting and being pre-occupied it didn't make it to the list til just now. Added.

With this build (it's the one i use even before this was posted), at level 7 I killed 3 demigods in a row. Rook on their team came to challenge me and died quickly. Then UB and TB showed up to try and get the kill their Rook missed out on, and I made UB run away (<300 health left) while TB died. Granted I was assaulting their citadel (solo mind you) and I had about 3 groups of my priests stacked on me, but it doesn't change the fact i killed 3 consecutive DGs, and 2 were

Since the Title was stilted initially I went with yours Torchbearer: The Immolation sounds particularly bad-###. Also I posted my "Enemy Demigods, what you need to know" in a separate post as I believe it is something everyone should know, regardless of whether they play torchbearer or not...plus it's pretty and I
I'm glad to hear some good news. You guys deserve a break. Now go home and get laid.
Good guide. Added to my list: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/349958
I put your guide on my list: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/349958 But i can't decide if you meant to type the title as: Torchbearer of Immolation or Torchbearer: The Immolation So I just labeled it "Immloation" for now. If you have a preference to one or the other, or if the title is the actual title you were after, let me know and I will change the title.
Yeah I play exclusively Rook online and what this Rook player did, while is a nice idea isn't smart since you aren't constricting the enemies warscore or killing them off thus letting them level up with impunity. I usually do the tower pushing build as well with Rook and it usually works, but I usually do it in one of the creep lanes and try to kill any enemy demigod trying to stop me. And cataract defensive areas suck anyways, it would
Rook: Level 1: Towers Level 2: Archers/Hammer Slam Level 3: What you didn't buy in level 2 Level 4: Hammer Slam Anything else and you are doing it wrong. THIS is why we need builds. EDIT: Builds are not meant to be the difinitive way of playing. They just help you keep track of what you are doing, so you can have a basic set of skills that work well together. Hell, even in games like WoW, while leveling I didn't fol
This is a great strategy. I've been using it recently. Never occured to me to do this. I have to admit this is a great tactic. Especially when you have a demigod stand there and try to contend with you inside his towers. He will never get XP because his team mates will be in the lanes killing all our creeps, or at very least they die at the tower before. This is a solid strat to hold onto the 20% XP flag, especially if you have some kind of support (Sedna,

That strategy seems to work really well for them (or at least I assume so, as they keep on doing it!). I can't think of a better way to demo a multiplayer game than having the whole thing for a couple of (non-working) days. Of course, doing that means your servers are going to get ab

But, actually, it's 4 gold each second for each player, so really looking at about 7.5 minutes, 2.5 minutes for each player assuming 3v3. Doing the full math: Level 2 = 2 gp extra per second @ 3600 gold = 30 minutes for one person, 10 for all three. Level 3 = 2 gp extra per second @ 4800 gold = 45 minutes for one pers
A demo for this game is hard. Oddly, this is something I have thought about on more than one occasion. Here is what I have come to, I don't claim them as original becuase of other people saying similar, but I did think of them on my own. 1. Multi and/or Single Player. Single player is an obvious, getting stomped online is not everyones idea of a great demo. Especially since one weak player can ruin an entire team in this ga

I have played TB in more than 30 games and I've only lost one. You need to increase your passive dmg more with artifact items like "Mage Blade" and "Ashkindor", those will carry you through. First item you should get at start is boots for travel and circlet of speed, putting you at 25% speed. Your frost or fi
You won because they fed you XP and money from angels pults and giants. Usually that can win games, but they did it too early level wise it appears, because they couldn't finish the job. TB on your team won that game for you btw, without his AoE you would have lost. That and you destroyed their citadel first.
