A balanced start is fairly important for most turn based games in this vein, with the Civilization series being the most obvious. Without knowing what the lands around your city are like, you have to cover for any potential weakness. Since the beginning of the game is generally the most important, starting off right is essential. A 3/3/2 start seems to me to be the most balanced and flexible of starting cities, allowing you to adapt as needed later, when you have an idea what your other city

Ok, here are some thoughts and observations after having playing several games to the mid-point (Almost finished with one). 1. The visuals are excellent. The game is beautiful to look at, and the artwork is both original and engaging. 2. Stability is much better. I think I might have had a single crash so far with this latest build, and that's it. 3. The UI is improved over WOM, and most things are fairly easy to figure out. I do have some suggestion

How thorough of a map editor will be included? I am curious as I wonder if a mod could be created that would enable someone to print out cloth type maps for use outside of the game, say for D&D. Already the included cloth map feature would be pretty neat for RPG settings, if it could be harnessed properly.
