I'm new to this game and I like it a lot. I am playing the vanilla version right now, not Entrenchment. I have played a lot of Total Annihilation and Supreme Commander and I like the option in these two games to select a ship/plane etc... and THEN hit a button to have the camera follow/track it around. But in SoaSE the camera seems to have a mind of its own. The most annoying part is right in the middle of a big battle the camera will start tracking some ship and will start scrolling the scre

I just bought SoaSE and am now starting to read the forums. I have a question before I really start spending a lot of time playing this. Should I play the original SoaSE or should I get the Entrapment addition and just start playing from there?

Freelancer Pros: Excellent interface for those of us that didn't want to whip out the joystick. Great graphics. Very good story line. Cons: Virtually no gameplay after the story was finished. Digital Anvil did an awesome job with this game and I did like the mouse nav system because it was easy to pick up but agree that the joystick would have added more depth. Homeworld<
