So no response? I'd very much like to know what to do here. I payed 10 bucks for something that doesn't work. Is there a refund process?

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, please move it to where it belongs if it needs to move. Picks up a copy of Puzzle Quest off of Impulse..and the game is unplayable. The mouse jerks around, rubber banding wildly just trying to move it. I can barely manuever to the quit button, then to yes. I'm on a pc, not a laptop which I have come to find out, appranlty has trouble playing this game. Not exactly sure what I"m supposed to do at
I wouldn't mind seeing a second type of spy. Have one spy who's there to do what current spies do, shut things down. They blow stuff up, knock things down, make a ruckus and get got easily. I would like to see a second group who's only job is intelligence gathering. They increase my knowledge on races, steal technology, and have a lower change of detection and elimination.
At least that's what it claims. The old stardock central is simple. Open, it checks, sees update, I hit update it does it. Impulse a couple of times has given me a message about an old version of the game being there and needing to be unistalled before the update can be installed. Honestly never tried it to see if it really will uninstall one of the expansions just to update it. I have enough connection trouble I don't really wanna have to download the whole expansi

*wishes he'd gotten the email* but hey..they didn't have to give you anything. A number of sites offer surveys and just expect them to be done out of the goodness of your hearts.
I'm rather fond of the super diplo ability. I rule the universe by buying it. Basic logistics, basic miniaturization and some early level weapons here and there usually nets me 2 plants from different races. The AI is not all that bright. They'll sell me virgin worlds of high class, or lower class worlds that despite having all of one lab and no bonuses on them, will have their tech capital. Not that I complain, a bit of renovating and I have two productive tech capitals.
Very slick stuff Pants. This will definetly be seeing playtime in my next game. Your upcoming mod, Super-Techs sounds interesting. I look foward to hearing more about it. Anything that gives me new, balanced, options to play with is a huge plus in my book.
The AI seemed to behave as it normally does. I'll have to look back at a save when I get back home later, there might have actually been one error. I play a super diplomat race so by mid game when the colonization rush is over I start buying planets off of the AI. With negative 2 to my special world colonizations, all of them, I bought what I believe was a radioactive world. It was already have colonized by the AI and I was able to continue building on it.
Tried a game with this. It's amazing how powerful you can be if you totally forfeit your ability to colonize any special worlds. Very interesting.
Wow, I get them almost every game lately. I couldn't deal with them right away so they got a healthy foothold taking a few planets. The only thing that really saved me was nailing on of their unguarded planets and stealing a rather powerful weapons tech. It let me field ships strong enough to atleast not die instantly. If you're a diplomat race like I usually play the dreadlords can be a huge threat. I've had my race nearly crippled when they wiped out my trade lines and destroyed my fleets
Well shoot Thanks folks. Heh, that's the problem of focusing so much on my diplomacy, influence and such. My people just aren't warlike enough. I do appreciate the advice, next time I'll try to take them out before they get so well established. In my last game the buggers overran several of my planets and wiped out most of my space going vessels, most in dry dock.
I'm embarrassed to admit this but I don't know how to make peace with the Dreadlords. I've been playing GalCiv II for a good while now...and I'm missing something. The AI races seem to make peace with them relatively quickly which spares their trading lines and lets them build up their military. Meanwhile my shipping lanes are wiped out and my fledgling military usually doesn't get off the planets I'm building it on. I play as a focused diplomat with the humans so if I can just get the
22, graduating with my undergraduate degree in a week, whoop. Then....grad school. WHy do I do these things to myself? Oh well, I've got Gal Civ to keep me sane.
My meager 2 cents. I just want the ability to convert starbase types. When I'm done with an influence base I"d like to flip it military. In times of war that would be extremely handy. It might be costly, it might collapse the size of my empire, but it might save me a few planets.
I'd like the ability to convert starbases. When an influence starbase is no longer needed I'd like to flip it to a military base. I'm sure it would be expensive, but worth the cost in a couple of games I've played.
Wouldn't wnat to do that. It would be rude to point out that the automate button does make them autohunt the nearest unocccupide asteroid.
It's been mentioned in other threads, but I'd love to see techs designed to create special agents. One set focused only on gathering tech data and ship designs. As a bonus I'd like to see scientist spies. Agents you send to the enemy world that actually helps a bit with their research, but sends you back data much faster than a normal spy, since s/he understands the work. If implemented this would of course lead to the other side of the coin. Agents who don't steal research, whose only pu
