Jet Set Radio Future! lol I wonder if anyone played that. It came with the original xbox and it was awsome. It's so ludacris rollerblading while spraying grafiti and grinding on rollercoaster rides but its awsome lol. Also I just started playing the Settlers 6, its alright but nobody plays it online which makes it alot worse;but its alright.

Actually when is Beta2 planned to come? I was trying to look that up around this website and couldn't find it.

I have a quick question, when or is there a next chance to join the BETA? Do I have to wait for Beta2, can I join in 1C, or did I completely lose my chance? lol -Thanks

Alright thanks guys for the info im a little disapointed but interested at the same time with the different village types. I like how they are going to feel more organic but I hope you don't have the ability to make every city you found a metrolpolis. And thats a good idea Tasunke but maybe have it a special ability instead of a tech? then you could have an ancient forest city or something like that instead of only being able to found them in late game. And ya its also not crucial and

Hey guys I haven't been on the forums for awhile so I was wondering if anyone knew about some info on the map geography or if anything has been confirmed. Here are some questions: 1. Are grasslands, deserts, and snow deserts (i guess) confirmed to be areas on a map? 2. Can you build cities in mountain ranges or in forests? Cause that would be sweet. 3. Do these different enivironments have attributes;cause things such as slower movement? 4. (this one is pr

I'm on the side of having borders like [-----A-----------A------][-----B-------B----] and would prefer intense military situations (or a friendly trade situation) to look like [------A--------A][-B--------B----] instead of [---A--][---B--][--C--][--A---][----B--] or something like that. I think it would give it a way better RPG feel because even close towns in RPGs take a long time to get to one another (ex. in DA Denerim to Lothering). @Climber I think that lim

Quoting Denryu, reply 18 Not to be nit-picky, but I said pretty much exactly that in my previous post And I also brought up some potential concerns with a system like that. If you can see all resources on the map from the start, then there would probably be an early rush to control the most high-end resources. That's one thing I like about Civ IV - you have no idea where those resources will be found, so you can't go establish a power base there in advance.

lol Gazing ya thats true with the scyths. honestly I just think scyths look cool and if you have a double bladed one itll just mow down grunts lol. but instead of having a short sword why not just let ur archers stab peoples throats with their arrows?just like legaless lol anyway I just hope there are more melee weapons than spear, sword and short swords. maybe a morning star? that would be awsome to watch lol

I think that there should be different resources that can be used for the same thing i.e iron=weapons and armor, steel=weapons and armor (but obviously steel is better) They should also have different qualities but this should be based on your miners' skills. Also when you make different metals into armor they have different color options (this would create diversity) You should also have to do research to mine different ore but instead of creating a tech tree, when you build

Yes infact I have played GalCiv2 but the limit with that game was the ship's hull so its a little harder to figure out the limit on a human (or Fallen) maybe like three weapon training max. I dont know but I do agree with Luckmann, the soldier with more training with different weapons should take longer to train. But I do think they should put this in since if you have a hard time putting alot of villagers into your army you can just create a bunch of super soldier

Hey guys I have another question for you Do you think that our soldiers we build can have a variety of weapons instead of being just plain old archers, pikemen, swordsmen, or cavalry? I was watching Deadliest Warrior today and I thought that those super soldiers are so cool just because they hold a variety of weapons and that it would be sweet to just to recruit and train soldiers that are similar For example I was thinking that it wo

I like Camp 1 not only because it adds more gameplay to mess around with but it gives you the chance to really customize your created soldiers. To make it a little easier to understand though I think you guys should explain it in phases ex. Phase 1 is the mining of raw materials Phase 2 is when a blacksmith breaks the metal down into armor or swords(in this phase you could re process the sword quite a few times just to make it better qua

o ya i also agree with you that the forests are unrealistic lol well at least based on the dev journal lol

5 Replies 3,810 Views

well this is the reason why i want this kind of thing in its because there seems there will be a lack of diversity since you can only be fallen or human and choose to align with 5 elements (im fully aware that this game will be easily modable) but ya you got it right on if you have a bunch of crazy barbarians in a forest they can help export more wood to other civs, it would be sweet (as you said) for the A.I to acknowledge that you are a bunch of crazies living in a forest lol,

first off i want to thank you guys since you really came up with cool ideas and what not. but ya i do agree with landisaurus and scoutdog that most "underdogs" (however you define that) should not be able to beat the large empires or kingdoms. it is true that the spartans, austrians, romans and whoever else had elite troops, won many battles with other local forces but I'm comparing who's the underdog in a specific war. ex. spartans were underdogs against persians, austrians unde

thats a pretty cool idea although i do think that if some civs are native to a certain area should be immune to disease and stuff but thats an unnecessary detail. the only problem i have is the glacier or ices burgs. that would be really hard to do b/c they would most likely cause high tides or earthquakes when they move

I understand why some people would get mad at that (the gal civ 2 thing) but personally I enjoy the minor races being able to put up a fight (especially if its against an enemy) I just think that having a few underdog stories would make players be more aware of where they should attack. and by technology I mean who builds the best weapons or armor. I just think, especially since this game will be medievalish and not so much about lasers and massive weapons, the underdog

I'm sorry about making two posts so quickly but my last post brought something to my attention. I'm pretty sure that researching technology will be a part of this game so i wanted to ask whoever is looking on this forum if having the most advanced technologies and having the largest armies should make you the best civ? What I mean is that this is a fantasy game so I've been wondering if a barabric minor woodland civ that puts more emphasis into the individual should be able

i know i may be out of line here but im more interested how you will recruit soldiers. like will you unlock technologies that allow basic, intermediate, and elite training then get to choose which one you will give your soldiers? I think it'd be cooler if it was just the longer you left them to train the better they got but it increased the chance of them dieing in training or something like that.
