I know for a fact my spouse is definitely a net loss in terms of revenue! I also got ripped off because I paid for the "Premium Spouse DLC" but they didn't tell me there was an on-going subscription cost of clothing and shoes that can't be cancelled! I'm also being forced into "DLC: Children"! HEEELLPP!!!!
Preach it brother

I love the starcraft, but the 1v1 one is not my thing. Their Campaigns are always excellent and the co-op I've always enjoined as well, 2-3-4 vs the a.i. For multi-player 2v2 is the only mode I enjoy, cuts down on the cheese you've experienced immensely in my experience.
Shadow and Claw: The First Half of the Book of the Sun by Gene Wolf
I've read the entire Book of the Sun, and while it was not exactly a light or easy read, and things get real weird in the second book, I did enjoy it and I'm glad I powered through it. Devices and Desires looks utterly bizarre, thanks for the recommendation.
Every person on your game you should budget at $10,000 per month. It’s a good rule of thumb.
Just in case there are any aspiring game programmers out there reading this post thinking they can be an average joe developer and make 120k a year, that 10k a month is often refereed to as the "fully loaded" cost. Which includes all those fun overhead items businesses have to pay like taxes and insurance. Don't get me wrong, you can certainly make
I find it interesting to see the ratio of folks who have and have not read the books. Makes the TV conversations interesting.
Need to read it, it's on the list. What the hell is "the great American novel" anyway though. Probably different for everyone based on their perspective i suppose.
I shudder to think what the new ones will be like. Ewoks and Chewbaca's living together.
Crafting (the player STARTS with the Forge of the Overlord and getting recipes and loot now mean being able to craft some really cool stuff) The player starts by choosing their sovereign and deciding what spell book he or she has. The more spell books of a particular type, the more likely the player will be able to use their lore to research rarer spells in that category. No tech tree. Instead, the available units are based on how you construct your cities.
Planning on getting it, probably will wait for a sale, as I've not got time to play it now anyway. I'm not huge into Norse settings, but the game looks extremely well done, and I'm a sucker for tactical strategy titles.
Ah, Elric, one of my all time favorites as well. They should really make that into a TV/Movie show of some sort, though I fear they would ruin it. He often at least tried to do the right thing though as I recall, so I can't say he was truly "evil". I'll check out Thomas Covenant, that does look rather mind bending, thanks for the suggestion.
Thanks for the suggestions, that Prince of Nothing looks interesting. Looks to have Dune like complexity, I may save that series for a vacation.
I recently read 4 of Joe Abercrombie's books, and really enjoyed their "grit" and dark humor. It got me thinking about if I've ever read a book that had a main POV character which was completely evil and wins, or had "good" main character(s) that in the end, utterly fail. Can anyone think of (and recommend) any books published like that? P.S. If you like Abercrombie, GRRM, or fantasy in general, I highly recommend The Broken Empire trilogy fro
I think what he's saying is there's not going to be a full price, full sequel II, anytime soon if ever, but there is going to be a lot of DLC and expansion type material, and it is a bit of a conundrum on what to prefix them, since the logical naming would now be Fallen Enchantress: . However that's just kinda weird, and makes it seem like the whole game revolves around the fallen enchantress, while going with FE:LH: is just too damn
It's looking better, still a long, long way to go, hope it turns out well though.
Nice, finally a reason to use the wife's ipad. That second picture reminds me of a childhood favorite http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lode_Runner
Cool, didn't know they were going to continue with Warlock, I thought the DLC added a lot to the reply value of the original game.
Seems like more of a 3.1 update than a 4.0 release to me.
For everyone that has not played the scenario in LH, it's really fun, and essentially just a sandbox game on a fun map with A.I. team play, and some scripted events. You're missing out if you don't give it a try, even if you are a sandbox only type of player.
This looks pretty fun, think I might give it a go
Really enjoyed playing the Scenario, loved the scripted hero events, had not seen those guys before. I held out for the 1.0 release before trying it but still ran into a bug at the end of the game. ***Spoiler*** After attacking and losing against the Tower defenders with a single hero, I later came back with my main army and beat them. However as soon as I choose to leap in afterwards, get crash to desktop instead of loading the final
A summon mount spell would be cool, put one in life and death spell books, to give you a death steed and a giant toad/turtle/unicorn/bear/etc..., or something like that.
They just nerfed the later spears by a point. I love the Impale mechanic personally, hate to see it go. Maybe nerf them another point but I don't know. Sword's counter attack is still really good and best for any kind of tank/defender.
Looks like it's fixed in .87 [e digicons][/e]
Added Sunderer (great axe granted from killing Abeix, each strike reduces the targets defense by half for 5 turns)
Nice. Does that stack per hit? Nerf on Pikes is [e digicons]v_v[/e] but needed.
I'm more impressed that the A.I actually cast that at you.
