I just built a new machine and added Multiplicity. Setting my old machine as the "secondary". All of my computers on my network have a 192.168.0.* address.. but my secondary says it's 169.254.21.253.... I have no idea where it got that IP and when I look up the IP of the machine it's clearly 192.168.0.25 My main machine can't find this one no matter what. Thoughts? Please help.

Yeah there isn't one and I'm pretty sure there is no plan to make one. I have long since uninstalled and stopped using multiplicity completely because I need a solution that I can use from my windows boxes to my macs.. Multiplicity is great for windows to windows but in any other situation you are just hozed. Use Synergy instead. Its the only option available.

Well 1.02 has been working for me seamlessly for months.. I got it before I even knew about stardock central.. Its only when this problem with fullscreen apps pop'd up did I try to upgrade and thus the problems began.. Much of this may be due to operator error, but I don't think so at this point. I am back to using 1.02 and it's back to working just fine (except for the fullscreen game issue).. I'd love to upgrade, because that may well have a fix in for the bug I'm seein

Oh.. I assumed since this is an official stardock.com forum that I could get support from here.. heh At this point I'm completely frustrated though.. I have now managed to completely destroy my multiplicity install.. The parent/secondary machines now wont talk at all.. I have uninstalled the old versions and reinstalled new versions.. rebooted more times than I can count and no amount of configuring will get them to connect.. *sigh*

So to type messages and what not I'm using Multiplicity to just mouse over to the other machine.. This of course causes the main window to scroll all the way it can in that direction.. Well.. this causes the game to get to an unplayable state.. It's still working in that I hear things going on.. and my various income numbers continue to climb.. but nothing works.. no amount of clicking or button pushing works. So.. this is either the same Multiplicity error I'm seeing in van

- Camera controls; its weird and unintuitive, in part b/c my fingers have been trained into certain pathways by all the other games out there. I spend way too much time screwing around with the camera to get my viewpoint where I want it. They have stated a couple times that they will be releasing control modifications for the camera.. that way you can edit stuff there.. I think we all agree its a little wonky.. <div class="Article_Qu

Fleet control ... I would like to see some way of creating a fleet that will stick together and be easily selectable. The click-drag doesn't quite get it. You can click the little icons on the the left top next to the system they were in to get "ALL ships" but that's about it. I agree that it would be nice to be able to say "These ships are in fleet 1" and then get a perm "Fleet 1" selector i

Wheeling and dealing is the way to go.. There is a word for players (and AI) that don't talk to their neighbors.. "Target".

I think being able to seriously bottle neck a system is key to good empire defense. If you can't do that, or there is some way around it then I think there is an issue. You need to be able to setup a frontline or line of defense. If a player can bypass your front line and dive directly into the middle of your empire, then there is no real point in having those planet to planet lines in the firs tplace.. just let people jump from any point to any point. By having the travel

Just testing stuff at random.. I intentionally set my screen refresh rate out of range of my monitor.. and now I can't set it back..hehe So, a suggestion and a question; Suggestion: Probably need to include a 10 or 15 second test after someone changes their monitor settings just incase some dork (read: me) sets it out of range.. Question: How do I get my video back?! hehe.. I wanna play some more.. *pout* Thanks..

Well sir... I like it. The game installs easily and quickly. The download wasn't bad either, I maintained between 500 and 800 per second the whole time. It installed very quickly and worked the first time without a hitch. It's wide screen compliant and my monitor thanks you. The game itself task switches very nicely and seems to work seemlessly with Multiplicity (which is something Vanguard can't claim..*sigh*) The game itself is very cool and I enjoy i

Hey gang. Love Multiplicity.. it's awesome. However I have discovered an 'issue'.. When playing Vanguard if you change screens, when you move back suddenly right clicking / mouse looking doesn't work in Vanguard. It doesn't happen every time.. you may screen switch 2 or 3 times and have it work fine before suddenly, it stops working.. But it always does stop working.. I installed and tested synergy to see if it did the same thing (which would mean its a pr
