what I would like to see is adjacent armies joining the battle like in AoW 2.

Also it would me nice if adjacent allied armies get to participate in the combat that way you could get help from your allies in attacking and defending, like the Age of Wonders 2.
I would even prefer RTS option to this, I thought this was supposed to be like MoM combat, whit this setup flying units will be nearly invincible.

I was wondering that as well, will it be possible to mod in the variations of existing weapons and armour in the future, also will there be possible to add completely new types of weapons and animations for them,
I had same problem in beta 1 , try going to the folder and starting game as administrator, that worked for me.
