No. The AI isn't scripted, that's one of the things that we did to make sure it was very adaptable. Well, I was going ask if maybe such a feature could be added, but I have a feeling that doing so when only degrade the AI. However, the races do seem to behave slightly differently from each other in the game (the Drengin and Yor are more a

If this question has been answered before and I just missed it, then I apologize: Is it possible to Mod things like the Diplomacy options (not just the actual text which I'm fairly certain you can modify, but the options that you can choose) also can you add your own AI Scripts and/or other related scripts in some way? (Not that there is a problem with the current, but it is conceivable that one might want to Mod a race that behaves in a unique way that might not match the current AI
I found Civ 4 to be a step back from Civ3 myself. I also found it to be bloated. Could someone please explain to me why A TURN BASED GAME requires such high minimum requirements? Yeah, it looks pretty - but I don't need a turn based game to look pretty . It also seemed to lack the ability to turn off some of the bloated make me pretty content. As for Game Play, well I got bored of Civ IV pretty quick. Maybe when my new computer comes next week I'll try it again. As for Gal CivII
I apologize for the double post.
I was just curious - does anyone know how the AI handles negotiations with each other? For example, is there just some fixed amount that you can sell each tech for or, is that amount context dependant? For example if I am selling say Massive Scale building, will the AI always pay X bc's, or will an AI that has a massive advantage over expect to pay less using an arbitration scheme of some sort? If it's just fixed, I think it /might/ be interesting to include an arbitrati

Hmm, in regard to the posters statement that diplomatic impacts should be toned down - I don't think that's the problem - I think they should be toned up and modeled a little better. For example, if tech trading is on - how much tech trading are the AI's doing with each other? They should be doing just as much of it as I am trying to do if not more. Another example of poor diplomacy is in war - winning a diplomatic victory should be difficult. If I'm winning against a computer opponent it sh
