Does the patch fix the "loading the game" issue? As in, the game literally won;t run for some of us (myself in particular)? https://forums.elementalgame.com/391741

Another update. I am now reinstalling the program to see if that helps. I'm not holding out much hope though. EDIT: reinstall complete. Still having the same issue. But I now have a debug.err file. Will upload in a minute and link in the original post.

Still no go. I'm not running ati tools. I've tried running the program as an admin. NOthing. nada. Zip. Same error. Black screen, "the working circle" and then "Elemental War of Magic has stopped working." One week. That's what I give the deves to fix the issue. After that, I'm requesting a refund. I'll buy the game again when it actually runs.

To my knowledge, I am not running ati tray tools. I'll check though. In he meantime, what else can I try?

Further update. I fixed the ieshims.dll error that was reported by dependency walker (copied the dll from a folder in internet explorer to the windows/system32 folder. Still didn't help. No clue what to do at this point.

Just a quick update. The day 0 patch gets me to the GUI loader, but the game still crashes with the same error. Happens regardless of whether I use the loader or not.

As the title says, the game won't load. All I get is a black screen and a notice saying that Elemental has stopped responding. After reinstalling, I got a debug.err file in the documents\my games\elemental folder.
