I had a problem with the update a few days ago. Impulse told me that my subcription was not valid for activation. ( Of course I knew better.... I have OD Ultimate... exp. date in October) So I went to the registration tab... and resubmitted my OD information that was already on the screen. It took about 4 sec. and everything was ready. Hope this helps.

Windowblinds is unable to start in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

I have been having trouble recently with a popup when I start windowblinds. It states... Windowblinds is unable to start. The most likely reason for this is your PC has a .CMD file running at startup which has locked WBs activation file. Run msconfig & remove this from startup and then reboot. WindowBlinds should then work fine. OK... I tried that. I tried to find a .CMD file and could not find a ".CMD" file anywhere. Please help. Tryin

I downloaded this and initially it worked fine. I was running the program for a few minutes when a pop-up came by and said an update to Impulse was downloaded and that I need to reboot. So, I did. Now, when I start Impulse all I get is the window border and no auto-login or capability to log in manually. What gives?

I had the same problem. I tried many ways to fix it, but to no avail. I even tried to reinstall the older version that worked, but that did not even solve the problem. I ended up using the system restore feature in windows vista. Everything has been fine since. I will be sure to wait for more guinea pigs next time a new version comes along.

My mistake. I obviously was not thinking clearly. (I can admit my faults, and learn from mistakes I have made.) I see your point clearly now and appreciate your candor. The issue I brought up before is mostly a Stardock issue, not Wincustomize. I am sure this error happens quite often, but sometimes the 2 companies seem like Siamese twins. Minor change to vote: Wincustomize = Yes. Stardock = No.

I am running the latest beta WB too. I am having trouble with the "apply changes" button. It disappears on mouseover. I also am having trouble with the startup. WB will not startup with the system or show up in the taskbar... and yes I have checked to see if the these are "on" in the settings menu. Firefox 3.0 beta 3 is has been running very smoothly on my very nice pc, for the last couple of weeks. It has newly designed default icons and is completely skinnable/compatable with windowblinds (just like IE is now). The downfall is that most add-ons are not yet updated to work with firefox 3 yet. Looks awesome with azenis 2 WB. :D
