I have to agree about the Logitech G9. Simple Design + modern technology = Awesome reponse times. As for a "mousepad", I use the extremely thin RAZER EXACTMAT. It is quite large so you don't "fall off the edge". You can't even tell there is a difference in height off the desk, and each side is of different texture (1 side for speed of movement, LIKE GLASS)(the other side smoothly textured for precise movement). The best advice I can give is to do the upgrade as soon as the new OS comes out... Then build your own computer... it's far easier than you may realize and much cheaper too. The same thing happened to me... I was running WindowBlinds at the time I tried to change the theme and got the same result as you. So, I went into WindowBlinds program, changed my theme to default Windows Aero, then closed the program. Went into Theme Manager 3 and everything worked fine. Hope this helps ;p
