Read my post. The game is slow for me at the start . And continues to be so agonizingly slow that it is pretty much unplayable. I haven't even played long enough to reach "late game."
My specs are for an Alienware M17x. And everything in the game is slow. Panning around, the animations, everything just crawls . It makes the game far too annoying to play. Is there anything I can do to help things? Oh and it's from the get go. Haven't gotten much past turn 100 on any game, it's too frustrating.
I have a pretty decent machine 1.66 Ghz i7 processor, 4 gigs of ram, 2 1 gig ATI video cards. So why on default settings does this game run so damn slow?
