I haven't play FE beta yet. But we do need a worker/engineer to build roads/bridges from city to city. It could be how civ 5 works, each road you build it adds to the maint cost but increases gildar for each city you connect. Maybe 2-3 different road upgrades in civilization tech tree. Or maybe we need an airship that can fly!

I can't think of a fancy name right now. But here's how it works. Aside from the exp units get in battle. A percent of the exp goes to a global pool after battle. Say after battle all your units get 100 exp each, a certain percent of 100 exp goes to the global pool. This percent is small, 1% after first tech to unlock it, up to 5% with additional research. Units, champions, and sovereigns must be inside a city for them to get bonus exp. If they get bonus exp they will lvl up
Maybe it would help more if you provided more info about your system. This game worked for me most of the time, I can play a few hours without it crashing but I might get a out of memory message. Solution is to exit game and start it again. Look in your C:\Users\Yourusername\My Documents\My Games\Elemental\ for a file name debugg.err and post or upload it.
I thought Stardock buff up the number of shards on the map at first in patch 1.06. In the previous patches shards were rare to come by. Now there are sometimes several near each city taking valuable space. Sometimes the shards tend to bunch up together next to each other. Ex. There are 4 earth shards next to each other in 4 adjacent tiles forming a square.
HP bonus on harder difficulties of sovereigns not taking effect. I play on ridiculous and sovereigns have 9-15 HP to start. This bug was in 1.05 also. Enemy units, champions and spouses seems to get the HP bonus but not the sovereigns, spouses usually have 40 HP at start. In my game the Umber sovereign is level 8 and has 12 HP! I think the AI is not using it's level up distribute points, not towards HP/consitution anyway.
I find myself short on gold most of my games also. Maybe a new option/feature for the shop owners, "Buy crafted items". Maybe you can unlock it by researching a tech. Another idea I have is a "Visit workshop" option. In the workshop they sell the same items as the shop except they require only a small percentage of the gold, while requiring materials and/or iron etc. Or maybe introduce a black market system similiar to Sins of a Solar Empire.
1. 64 bit version release. Shouldn't be anymore out of memory messages? 2. Able to see my hit and evade % in a tactical combat log. Ex. Enemy hits you for 10 damage, chance to hit was 50% etc 3. Better and faster performance. Right now I'm getting 10-15 FPS with a six core and an ATI 5850 around turn 95.
I had three champions with the same name and picture in my game. Probably is a bug. Champion's name is Viy, a merchant master, I recruited the three of them, two of them in my soreign's army, one of them on the other side of the map.
[quote who="technophebe" reply="31" id="2743394"]Super quick fix for this guys, for those of you who (like me) are not confident modders: - Create a custom faction in the workshop (don't worry this is really easy) - Open the xml file in My Documents\My Games\Elemental\Race with notepad - Near the bottom of the file you will find the line: 1 - Change the '1' to whatever mana
Too many personal questions this time. I saw on the news they only need to know how many people live at your address as it saids in the Constitution. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=matl8i9kc7w If you want to be paranoid, they'll use the data like WWII Germany did to the Jews. Send people of certain races/religions to FEMA camps in the US to be killed in WWIII.
Tournaments I would like to see a tournament every 20-25 turns or so. No exp given, maybe a special trait for the victor that slightly increases tournament effectiveness. Heroes and their armies get healed/resurrected after the battle. 1st (winner), 2nd, and 3rd place available depending on the number of players on left map. 2-3 players - Winner (1st place gets gold, resources, and item of hero's choosing out of 3-4?) 4-5 players - 1s
I'm a bit disappointed at the 8 player maximum. In GC2 there wasn't enough room to fit all the races on the map. Any news of any team play for the human and AI? What I mean is I want a game with 4 teams, 3-4 players on each team battling it out. Ex. I'm on team 1 along with 2 other AIs battling it out with 3 other teams. Like how team play works in Civ4. Sometimes it's just you against the AI becomes boring. Maybe even team quests, or quests that give bonuses to y
