I can't tell you how much I wish this push for mod-ability had happened two years ago, right before I started going to school for 3d modeling / animation, since a primary reason was I wanted to be able to make art assets for games :) not that I'm not enjoying the subject, its just, I would have been really really excited for this two years ago, but now that I'm intimately familiar with maya and 3ds max, I'm only pretty excited about this. :D Looking forw

I'm very much looking forward to this, I just love what you guys do so much. I follow stardock's games and betas much more closely than any of the other games I keep up on, and I try to constantly talk stardock's stuff up to anyone I think might be even a little interested. yes it has been my experience that to make a land bridge, you need to raise up the square you'd like to walk on and every square on either side all the way across. I'd recommend having a team of casters for this :D creating usable shoreline is similar except you want to raise a water tile adjacent to a cliff, then raise the tiles along the cliff to either side of the first tile. also, you need to have your city close enough to the shore to build on it, remember harbors are improvement
