Yep this one I have found to be a major pain - so much so that unless I strategically realy need to upgrade those ships I just don't bother , build new ones and decommmision the old ones....be great though if there was a way to upgrade the entire fleet..

Great Stuff - Have hardly had much time to play the game but have always been annoyed at the wasted social spending in both GCI and GCII - especially with a supposed emphasis on economic management I always found it very frustrating that to build up a new world you had to waste so much of your resources on already established planets with the only way out being to directly purchase improvements, either option being highly inefficient. I can download everything fine- to my work computer that is, my problem is my home computer where i intend to play the game has no direct internet connection. With GalCiv1 this was no problem, but i have tried just about evry trick i can think of to copy the game from my work computer to home computer but cannot get it to run - the main problem seems to be the neccessity of having to have stardock which won't initialise on my home computer because of t
