Chaos kicked butt in battle, but life had the best army buffs. Earth was a defensive juggernaught, but sorcery could mess with other peoples magic. So far the spell book for Elemental is basically the same exact spell over and over. Electrical damage, Fire damage, earth (blunt) damage.

If your sovereign is grouped with your pioneer when a town is founded, the sovereign becomes wounded and you get a statement that they have gone to the newly founded town to rest. Also, the first time I founded a town and got this message, the pioneer was not destroyed.
Page 4, Under heading "Our Story so far", line 6: "Seeking control of the world s" is missing the apostrophe before the s. There are actually several examples of this missing apostrophe before the s in the manual. Page 6, under heading "quick start", line 1: "here's some initial tips" verb tenses do not agree. Should read "here are some initial tips. Page 6, under heading "quick start", line 11: "adverturer" should be "adventurer" Page 8, under heading "tro
Issue persists for .805.
Out of curiousity, are you using a mouse with a smooth-scrolling wheel instead of a incremental-click style scroll wheel? I'm just wondering if your issue is the same one we've been discussing in this thread: https://forums.elementalgame.com/384926
Since we have a lot of champions with non-combat abilities at the moment (trading, production, science, etc.), there's a desperate need for those folks to level up their abilities by using their abilities, rather than fighting spiders. Trader heroes should level through trading quests or building money enhancing buildings. Research heroes should level based on the amount of research being done.
The Hiergamenon entry for Solon the Gladiator: the word "constant" is misspelled "constand".
Also, the opening screen of the Hiergammon, under the heading "War of Magic", the sentence is missing its first verb: "Though you are now lord. . . "
Indeed I did mean that. I'm getting a bit ahead of myself, aren't I?
Ebbenwolves flavor quote uses the word "pray" when it means "prey" The second sentence of corpses spiders has disagreements between singular and plural verb tenses. From memory, it should be "they consume the corpses of their victims." or "it consumes the corpses of its victims." Right now it's something along the lines of "they consume the corpses of its victims."
The Heirgammon text for Dire Skaths talks about wolves, not Dire Skaths.
UI: - units should show where they are going to - with path drawn and maybe estimated time of arrival? - It is hard to see which units have moved and which haven't. Maybe some icon that shows that?
I'd like to second these two points, particularly the first one.
Issue remains unchanged for version .804.
Confirmed that using the Microsoft Intellipoint driver for the Wireless Laser Mouse 8000 is a functional workaround for this issue. However, it makes my scrolling jerky in other programs and although the scrolling is functional and responsive in Elemental, it still has a clicky-jerky feel. Hopefully a patch soon will change the mouse-wheel delta assumptions and fix the issue.
Posting a quote from someone else posting on one of the threads on the Dragon Age Origins forums complaining about this issue: Previous versions of Windows always had a fixed delta for mouse wheel changes, so lots of programmers hard-coded the assumption that the delta would be a particular value (120). The later versions of Windows and Intellipoint software have begun using different delta values, which means programs that incorrectly assume the fixed delta don't wo
Loading the MS intellipoint drivers specific to the mouse does not resolve the issue.
Loaded Elemental onto my wife's computer. She has the same mouse and the same problem with zooming in Elemental. Might this have something to do with the free-spinning, as opposed to incremental-click, nature of the mouse wheel in this mouse? I'm currently using the generic Vista HID-compliant mouse driver, which has working fine for all other programs. I'll check on MS specific drivers for this mouse and see if they make any difference.
Checking or unchecking the zoom to cursor box does not change the issue. While testing, though, I noticed more details about the issue. Turning the mouse scroll wheel at a slow or normal rate for any distance results in no zoom movement. A rapid spin of the mouse scroll wheel will result in a sudden jump in the zoom level. My wife uses the same mouse on her computer (which is otherwise different as far as motherboard, graphics card, etc.); I'll try to install Eleme
All versions of the beta, including the current one, do not zoom smoothly with my mouse wheel. The mouse, a Microsoft Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 6000, scrolls smoothly with the wheel in all other programs. Also, the map works smoothly for all other functions such a panning and rotation. The zoom is jerky whether in 3d or cloth map mode. Slow rotation of the mouse wheel produces no effect. A rapid spin of the wheel will usually result in a small increment in z
My name is Daniel Wendelin. Here is the XML file and the icon file , in case you need it. Do you want us to restrict our submissions to one each? Will you want more once races other than men are available to us?
If I've already ordered and win, could I get upgraded to the collector's edition instead?
I don't think this poll is a very good test. Without any flavor text, graphics, or back story to differentiate them, it is no wonder that none of us are at all attached to the established factions. You'll notice that the faction with the most votes is the one for which we have learned a little back story. A 1+ to this or that stats bonus isn't going to make anyone attached to a particular race. You need to make them live a breathe before we're going to care one way o
