I only want to update my game to the latest patch in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

How the hell do i use this stupid SD Central program? It tells me my GalCiv2 code is invalid. It copied it exactly from the back of the manual. Hey, it worked when signing up to these forums so why the hell wont it work to get the updates?
