Mana regeneration seems to be my main problem with the game at this point. You can actually do a lot in the game with Magic - as it should be -, but amount of Mana all in all and mana regeneration seems to be insufficient to really use strategic spells to good and continous use. Teleporting around in your empire is fine, but once mana is expended, the specific hero is out of magicc for some turns. With the manual being not very helpful - is there a way to regenerate more mana? Ho

I agree with Mistwraithe. Especially Mana Regaining should be linked with a basic skill, maybe (Int + Ess)/20 or something. Or it might depend on the number of shards you control. Or a combination of some things, there could even be buildings supporting that. In any event, having effectively ONE point of Mana per turn isn't exactly doing the name of the game justice - after all it's called War of Magic .
I have to agree with OP - the manual sucks. Going to options and enable tooltips helps a lot, but still I'd prefer a bit more solid facts about what all those fancy hero statistics do, how units heal, if you can heal them faster than the 1HP/day rate and... and... and. What about a list of terrain costs - and why is a diagonal move as cheap as a horizontal or vertical one?
