I'm sure this has been reported before, but every game I've played in 1.06 and 1.07 has a problem with both character portraits and city names/colors. Characters will change portraits seeming at random, and cities will display on the strategic map the names and colors of other cities, until I click on them, Neither of these are game-breaking, but they are certainly annoying. Just something for the inevitable future patches. Keep up the good work!

[quote who="GoaFan77" reply="3" id="2554189"]No existing mods, but it is pretty easy to do (I'm assuimg you know how to edit entity files already. If not, there is a tutorial in the forge tools download, though you'll need to download/convert the game files seperately). For the advent just open their psi cruiser carrier and planet module hangar defense entity file and remove the reference to the homing mines squadron. For the Vasari, open the playerphase.entity file and
Hey all - I really hate mines, to the point where I barely play Sins anymore because of them. However, I really want to play both expansions. Is there an easy way to mod all mines out of the game, or is there an existing mod that will do this for Entrenchment and Diplomacy? Thanks in advance. Brian/Perrin42
1. Espionage fix - As previously mentioned. 2. Starbase construction - Make the constructors work like miners, including automation. This is one of the most frustrating parts of the game 3. External ship editor - This would be too much fun. 4. I'll throw in a vote for the automated/random ship names mentioned above. Perhaps a file with sections based on hull size that we can pre-populate. It would give ships a little more character. That's all I can th
Update: I was about to try the models suggestion, but then I noticed that 1.40X.67 was out. I loaded that (and Dark Avatar Beta 2), and that corrected the problem in both games.
I am having trouble with two computers - a Dell Optiplex GX280 running Windows XP, and a Toshiba Satellite Pro 6100 running Windows 2000. Both are set for the English region, and both use "." as the decimal separator. Both computers run GalVic 2 v 1.0X.1 with no problems. However, when I upgrade them to 1.40X, all ships in the game disappear. No outlines, no textures, nothing. They work - if you zoom out until they become symbols, you can order the ships around without difficulty. But you
