Warbands is awesome.

Have Sovs started to use points at all from leveling up? Last time I played their stats never improved when they leveled.
Somebody has sand in their vagina.

I hope that heavy armour and shields will significantly lower Initiative, and require a certain Strength to use - in WoM, there were no penalties for using the best, heaviest armour - so if you had enough gold, all your champions (be they Level 1 or 5) would just get kitted out in the best stuff available - which
Must be going at the 31 year olds too, because I like it.

Think library/university in civ, or market/bank. It's generic, it's kinda dull, but it works. Quite dull. If it's not broke, why fix
Oh yea, I guess I should have mentioned it was RL and not a video game fight. I wish I recorded it too, but my phone is crap.

Cant your warrior monks use staffs, spears or pullarms, and use no armor and have purchased advanced skills in dodging or avoidance and staff combat, or something. Punching and kicking just doesn't seem realistic to me. Last time I checked people weren't cap
Nobody won. It was a draw at best and a double loss at worst. The wasp landed on this sign, and the spider lunged out of his hiding spot and grabbed him. It first looked like the spider had the wasp dead to rights, but then I noticed he was fighting and started landing a bunch of stings while the spider was trying to get a better hold and biting him. They fought for awhile, biting and stinging, then the wasp broke free and staggeringly flew away and the spider sat
I just watched a spider fight a wasp, it was a good fight. It didn't end how I thought it would. It looked one sided at the start, but then the contender brought out his A game. Better than many boxing matches I've seen the last few years.
Yes. I have noticed this and bitched several times. I'm hoping that the different kingdoms will have different skills they can have their troops learn, maybe a few different spells, summons, and some unique buildings. And more cosmetic difference then just the color too, like Tarth having different armor styles than Altar. Hope, hope, hope.
It would be nice to see a ton of 3rd person Western RPGs or 4x TBS games being made again. For a second, when Dragon Age was made, I thought it might be the start of something great, but I guess it was the last big Western RPG. Don't get me wrong, I like other types of RPGs, but I really love the 3rd person RPGs like Dragon Age, KotoR, Balders Gate, Drakensang, Arcanum, etc where you make your own hero and gather a group of adventures in a sand box world with a

Some land would be worth more than other of course, resources, rivers, passes, etc. I just hate Culture or Prestige. What the hell is that really? What is the real world equivalent to those? It doesn't seem realistic. I think the US produces a lot of "Culture", celebrities, movies, TV shows, but does that change our national borders? Does prestige? I don't think so. Wars do. Appeasement does. Negotiation does.

Let's say a player had started a game on max difficulty, with the goal of employing careful planning and diplomacy to pull off a minimal-defense expansion gambit in the early game. Through thorough planning and hours of delicate maneuvering, they manage to gain a bunch o
I love that we will nto be making one billion libraries for every city.
I would like FE to be more Civ like in a number of areas than EoM. Could we have cities defend themself like Civ 5 too? Could we have minor factions play like the city-states?
One big flaw I have seen in more resent TBS games is the use of "Culture" or "prestige" as political boundaries. Doesn't seem very realistic. I think we should be able to negotiate borders between neighbor kingdoms. If we are at war, instead of having to conquer cities, maybe we fight and to make peace, I give up some of my borders. Borders don't seem to wax and wane according to "culture" to me. They seem to be fought and negotiated o
To me, Fallout 3 and Vampire: the Masquerade Bloodlines change into First person was a major improvement. Shadowrun on the other hand was a terrible disappointment. It can go either way.

Looking forward to this game.
It feels good to see little things like the Citys having real names instead of random letters like in WoM. I bitched up a storm about that and, in a goofy and seething with delusions of grandeur way, I feel that helped make FE better. Even if it was a tiny part, I feel that I have a part in FE. I have used the power of bitching for good.
This is kind of a strange question, but is it even possible for this game to be a commercial success? I mean, can it make money? Even if it is really good, and a lot of people like it...many people are getting it free or discounted. I really hope it's great and makes butt loads, Stardock deserves it for the work put into it and rectifying WoM failure.
