I'm less concerned with the memory issues, and more concerned with content and fun factor. It only crashes occasionally for me anymore, and that really doesn't bother me that much. I just have no reason to play it. Heroes are boring, they are all generic and interchangeable as their stats and abilities mean nothing compared to the gear they are wearing. Quest haven't changed. Factions are still bland. 10 racesand 6 of them are White humans. Not s

I work for the state at a mental health hospital, and people get beaten up and injured by the patients and then get FMLA trapped and fired. It's so shitty. Its a dangerous field, and if you ever get hurt, they treat you like a fucking criminal.
I like them like I like my men, bold, beautiful, colorful, interesting, dangerous and most important...as big as possible!
Frog already said that the idea of the Fallen being Evil and the humans being Good would turn more grey with FE and after more campaigns. Also, Kudos on the epic sprint to fulfil Godwin's Law.
I think people are overly nostalgic when it comes to old games. Lets take a game I love more than almost anything, Dark Wizard. Dark Wizard was a tactical and strategy fantasy war game for the Sega CD. There were quest, heroes, monsters, magic items, all that shit. But virtually no challenge and no AI at all. The enemies were all weak, didn't do much to actually win battles, it was fun to create and army and heroes, and things like that, but the actual combat was
hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
It nees the internet only if you upgraded to the beta.
I'm too dumb to understand this stuff. But...uh...less crashing and freezing and junk, right? Thanks!
What makes you guys think FE is going to be any better than EWOM? Remember we were just as excited about EWOM from "what we've read" that it was going to be the best game ever. Six months ago I said that EWOM was released six months too early... well it's been six months now and EWOM is still not solid. I don't know about you, but I'm going to be dragging my expectations in on the floor for FE.
Agree.
Hahahahahahahahahaha
Hmm, I'm not sure I understand fully what you are asking, but what the hell, I'm going to try and help anyway. I think you are asking, "By looking at the map, can I tell where the quest started, as some of the quest require me to return to that quest point to finish the quest?" If that is what you are asking, then the answer is "Kind of" If you look at the cloth map, the quest site will change colors if it is a part of an active quest, but it won't tell you
My home computer is a cheap Dell that cost me $800 2 years ago(hey, I'm a poor state employee, don't judge me[e digicons]:hrmph:[/e] ) and I play everything pretty well, or at least well enough. I don't play online FPS or anything, usually stick to SP games, and it does fine. I probably won't get a new one for a couple years.
Well, can't we have good both? I would like a campaign that introduces and teachesbasic game mechanics, and makes me understand and feel the motivations of the other characters and gives me a strong sense of the "world" I am playing in. And I want the Sandbox to be bitching with options too. At least now from the campaign, I got the feeling that Queen Porcupine is a cold bitch, and that makes the world a little more interesting, to have some depth to the characters.&nbs
Iron Kaiser sounds like the name of a bad ass heel Wrestler form the early 80's! Rowdy Rodey Piper *YAY* takes on his nemesis, the furer of fisticuffs, the archduke of anarchy, the Iron Kaiser! *BOOO*
Agree, it bothers me too.
2. Fixed the custom faction tech granting abilities so they work correctly regardless of the factions allegience. Yay! Can you make it so all gear works for everyone next? I know, demand, demand, lol. Quest gear, and rare gear, like the Ilyan's pressed iron armor, that kind of stuff. Pretty please?
With some poster that go apeshit, you just need to slap them on the wrist or confront them and they learn to mind, like me. Others can be intolerable no matter what. I think Stardock does a good job of handling the board with allowing people to express themselves while keeping the true riff raff out.
Thats hilarious.
Quoting Lord Xia, reply 4 I'm the most loved forum poster, right? Right? RIGHT! I'LL FUCKING CUT MYSELF IF YOU DON'T SAY YOU LOVE ME, BRAD! p.s. I really shouldn't make that kind of joke...considering I work in mental health. But I'm a bastard. I'm far more active here than most forums and my personality really shines here...I'm sure everyone is
Eh, I'm in 4 MP Dom3 games right now. they take months and months to finish, I think a game of Elemental, the way it is would take about 37,3 years to finsih.
Nooo!!!!!! I have it on good authority that Brad is putting this in just because you don't like it.
That would be a reason for him to do it...
Hm, well different strokes, I suppose. The one thing I DO wish was in EWoM is a shared building/training queue. I always liked the tradeoff that went along with that.
Nooo!!!!!!
Wow, getting Lord Xia obsessed with you is a pretty dangerous thing. Like stabbing a bear with a pocket knife.
I tried to get Brad, Toby, and Kael to friend me on Facebook, but they were too smart for that...how did they know that was step 1, and step 2 would be me standing outside their window holding up a boombox, proclaiming my love by blasting "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel!? Now I have to come
Screw Brad! I love Jon now! Oh, and Toby too.
1 Movement: units MOVE in that game! they don't just go by 2 or three squares. Try the Teleport spell. I think you'll like it.
Awesome, just awesome. Well done.
