Ok. One game I am totally hyped about and think everyone else in this forum will like is "That Which Sleeps", which has a website here - http://www.kingdinosaurgames.com - and a Kickstarter here - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/kingdinosaurgames/that-which-sleeps <br /

I love indie games. I own FE and LH and am also a huge fan of the Dungeon Keeper series. I link to a preview of an indie game I am playing, kind of a Roguelike Dungeon Keeper. It is in Alpha, but cool. Preview - http://matthewhopkinsnews.com/?p=653 Official Site - http://keeperrl.com/ (note I am not affiliated with the authors)<
Hi guys, I have not been on here for a long time, but I am a big, longstanding, Stardock supporter. Just want to say a big well done for the Dead World DLC pack. What FE has needed for a long time is more factions and content and this is a huge step in the right direction. [e digicons]B)[/e] That is all.
Hi, I made a custom sovereign with a custom backstory, but when I start or load a new game, the text shown in the welcome screen is the standard stuff about far beneath the world. The correct text does show in the unit description though.
This game is great. In terms of gameplay it is far better. I think that Derek Paxton and the guys have got all the gameplay in place. I am quite happy at this stage. My only limited suggestion is that I think the game tends to be more like Civilisation, or even (whisper it) Fall From Heaven insofar as it focuses on units and magic is more support-y. My hope is that once the game is released we can look at more stuff. Basically I think we need item crafting as in Master
[quote who="Campaigner" reply="53" id="2971117"]Ok, I'm disappointed. I've been watching Master of Magic games on youtube and playing some myself and the number of interesting spells in Master of Magic is FAR greater than in this PDF. I'm not entirely certain if Life, Death, Chaos, Nature & Sorcery magictypes are ultimately better than Life, Death, Fire, Earth, Air & Water but I'm biased towards the MtG system. However, since Derek like MtG I'll cautiona
I agree about environment spreading out, and also that having more than just life or death environments would be cool. Like a frosten race that spreads cold, for example. I like the unit customisation but it needs more content, variety and choice. I like mounts but want flying mounts. I like the way cities grow, taking up many squares. But want more variety of buildings. (Crystal, organic, rounded). More may follow ...
You guys probably know me best as a huge fan of Elemental. It occurs to me that one thing discussed less often amongst us strategy gamers is our favourite music. Just out of interest, what is everyone's favourite band? I happen to like We Are The Fallen. Indeed I am going to shamelessly plug them today. http://www.wearethefallen.com . They have a new single soon called 'Tear the World Down' (same name as their debut album). I also run a fans
The game was released early because naughty people released torrentz which forced StarDock to release it early to the customers who actually paid. Otherwise, the guy thinks a lot of what I think - 1. Good game. 2. Balance it. 3. Add more stuff.
I am a loyal customer of Stardock. I am enjoying this game. I have not experienced the majority of the problems described by PC Gamer and RPS although I have played most of the publicly available builds. There are bugs. I would like to see more content, some polish and some fixes. But I am enjoying this game and I am glad I pre-ordered it . I do not feel I wasted the money. The criticism is over the top. As I said the game is good <
I have to say this article seems a little bit harsh to me. I have experienced some bugs on my machine, but the game is playable and fun. I personally do think more polish and content is in order, but I have been playing on all the publicly released builds and I have not experienced most of the issues the magazine mentions.
I don't want to be accused of spamming but ... This game rocks. It is well supported by an excellent developer and company. I am very happy with it. Having made my position clear ( this game is excellent ) I am now going to get back to what I prefer to do, ie lobbying as to what I want to see in the expansions! <s

Excellent game. Overview I have really been getting that one-more-turn feeling. My thoughts are that it is really good. However, it is also a platform to build on. Now they have a working engine we need to browbeat them to ensure that the next three or four expansions add lots and lots and lots of content. The Expansions and Patches Requests Spells</
Love this game. Glad I bought it. It has great mechanics. We want more 'stuff'. Lots more spells. Interesting global enchantments please. Armageddon anyone? Eternal Darkness? Season of Light? Chaos Channels? Global Fertility? Battlefield spells - Prayer, Darkness, Mass Confusion, Rain of Fire etc. etc. The devs should basically rob the MoM, Dominions 3 and AoW 2 spellbooks.
I think this game rocks! It is a really good solid foundation. I already find it addictive like Civ. What I want to see now is a lot more content added in free patches and paid expansions. Spells - MORE MORE MORE. Interesting global enchantments please. Armageddon anyone? Eternal Darkness? Season of Light? Chaos Channels? Global Fertility? Battlefield spells - Prayer, Darkness, Mass Confusion, Rain of Fire etc. etc. The devs should basically rob the
Love the game. Love it, love it, love it. Wanna see a little more UI polish. I also want to see more graphics on the development screen and a lot more content in expansions. They've made the board, now I want to see a lot more playing pieces!

That's not a negative. That's just how they are with all the games in their article. Full article here http://www.kotaku.com.au/2010/08/the-week-in-games-66/ I attach three entries as an example. New releases for the w/c August 23: Elemental: War of Magic (PC) What Is It? Fantasy strategy game from the makers of Sins of a Solar Empire and Demigod, a
At the moment, spell books are too cheap. There should be more books, with more varied spells, not just slightly different clones e.g. Ice Bolt, Fire Bolt. The books should be more varied, and have more spells. Choosing Fire over Ice should make more of a difference to game play, not just the colour of the magic bolt. In addition books should be more expensive so it entails a major sacrifice to choose them all - if that is even possible.
I agree. Wargs != Horses. Also, there should be 'grades' of cavalry so that a high Civilisation technology or Warfare technology unlocks (for example) War Horse or Battle Wargs. Or something.
Keep the checkbox! I like it if it is optional. I would like to raise a related point. The thing that annoys me about zooming is NOT unit scaling it is the fact that the graphics engine is over aggressive on making things vanish as you zoom out. I own a ludicrously high specification PC and I want control over this functionality like a slider or something.
To be honest, I only have one concern. I want an AI that DOES NOT CHEAT. And I want whether or not bonuses / cheating apply at different levels to be clearly documented.
Randomisation Please - have the terrain match the world map. Combat Speed from the film, Sauron was slow but had an Area of Effect attack with his hu
I favour the second option. Expand the race distinctions and provide more assets and code to support players creating their own custom factions made up by their own custom races.
