I solved my slowdown issues by realising that demigod is only using one of my 4 cores for some reason and manually changing the cpu affinity to use all 4 in task manager. I don't know if you are having the same issue or the sound issue but it is something you might want to check.

Never mind, for some reason affinity was set to only 1 cpu, works like a charm now.

I have a quad core cpu, but for some reason game seems to use only one of those cores so every time toward the end of the game it starts crawling and becomes unplayable. Is there a way to force it to use more then one core or is it even a known issue?
