Just picked up Gal Civ III retribution off steam, my problem is the game starts to crash about 10hours in, and I have no idea why. Don't know how to find the save to show you guys, just tell me how and I'll try, thanks.
Is there any way to go back to earlier versions before Crusade? I've played it a few times and I really hate the tech stealing, its far to easy.

The 'map' size is also all wrong, you are right on top of everyone no matter what size is selected. Who released such a poorly done patch? Brad, we used to shoot emails back and forth when you were working on Gal Civ 2 and you used some of ideas, please listen now. Make the AI agressivess adjustable, and fix the map size issue. Right now unless you love constant combat the game is unplayable.</
Tried those things, didn't help. Is there a way to remove the patch? Matye uninstalling the game?
I installed it a few days ago, and it has ruined the game for me, it just doesn't work correctly. For example, no matter what size galaxy i select, its always the same size, and the AI civs are right on top of me from the start. The AI is FAR to aggressive, no matter if I've researched diplomatic options and built a bunch of embassies and have a decent sized fleet, half the galaxy mindlessly declares war on me. The &
SDC refuses to validate that I have the game, it confirms my e-mail and password, and when the DL is about to start it stops with the error message that the product can't be validated!!! What the hell is going on here??!
How EXACTLY do I get this upgrade? I have been trying for 30 minutes now, can you give me THE EXACT LINK to the Download please?
I have played it, its a lot of fun for a bit, but there is a an issue with replayabilty since all the scenarios are basically the same.
I don't think that's a fair charge. I've tried link to most of the reviews of GalCiv II as they've come out in news items regardless of size of site. Heck, I've even linked to blogs. If I know about the review, I tend to link to it, even if they're not the rating I'd like as long as it seems like they gave the game a fair shot.</
Some interesting points, and I'll make some myself, you see, I'm a (gasp!) GAME reviewer. I see you are somewhat miffed about small companies not being noticed. I also see you linked to gamespot and other reviews, yet I recieved a copy of this game, reviewed it, and didn't even get a follow up when I provided my review. When I do articles for Strategy informer, which has a decent following, I will get to see the review
