Thank you so much for all the hard work to keep the patches coming. You guys *rock*.

Very good point fivecoins. It would be nice to be able to edit your army's configuration when entering a battle. This doesn't have to be something that's done every single time you enter a battle, but perhaps an option button for any group. This way you can put your bruisers up front and casters in the back (once they fix the spell casting--I KNOW they will!!! For goodness sakes--it's WAR OF MAGIC!!! :-)) Or, if you want to make it a bit more complicated, also ha
Been trying to read through all of the posts, but it's bedtime. I just wanted to throw in my two cent's worth. The magic in this game is very disappointing. I have read several posts about spells and damage and it's true--"so-and-so does damage equal to the caster's intelligence plus any "type" shard you control". Completely no variety or creativity here. Same spell--different name and/or effect. Of the myriad of tactical spells, I only use three. I
LOL! Good idea!!
I've been searching through the forums without much luck, and feel silly asking this (surely there is some way... I must just be overlooking it)... but is there not a way to have the computer randomly pick who you play against? In the opponents screen I see all of the factions listed and you can add or remove them. But is there no way to just choose the # of opponents you want and have them randomly selected? Sort-of like cheating knowing who your opponents are at the beginn
Thanks! I did understand the contiguous error, but what gets me is if I want to remove one thing (like a hut) to build a house, it gives me the "your structures will not be contiguous" error. Ugh! I mean--I would have to tear down all buildings that would not be touching after removal of this structure just to remove the structure? Very frustrating.
Well, I have mixed feelings about this game. Parts of it have me wanting to do that "one more turn", but that "one more turn" lots of times is very disappointing. First of all, they seriously need to add some tooltips and a GOOD manual. This is just unforgivable. So much is left to figure out, and without at least being given a little direction that is impossible. Case-in-point, elementium. That's been a huge PITA. Okay--structures. Maybe I
I ditched the campaign and started playing a scenario. MUCH easier. Everything seems to be working just fine now. I think they really need more tutorials/literature for the campaign... very confusing.
Oh--one last thing. I am trying to continue with the campaign, but the big "troll monster" killed virtually all of my troops, and all I can train are peasants. If I upgrade anything like swords, I can't build them (no metal). And I just checked... the resource needed *is* metal. All I can train right now are caravans and peasants. My city is level 3 and I can't build *anything* (all of the buttons are grayed out, and when I mouse over them, as well as tr
Yup--the campaign is driving me crazy. I keep wondering if my install is messed up. For example, if I click on the kingdom button, I can't research spells nor can I research upgrades. As far as metal goes, it's definitely metal--not materials. Well, I'm pretty sure. I'll reload and check. I even went so far as to remove town structures hoping to give me a "rebate" in metal to no avail. But I am puzzled why I can't research spells and technologies (m
Okay--Just purchased the game yesterday and was going through the campaign. Documentation isn't the best (not that I would read it, LOL!), and I've gotten myself stuck. I created a city that has grown well, trained troops, etc., and all of a sudden I couldn't build anything. No reasons why, etc. I *finally* figured out that I'm out of metal. Guess what? I have zero metal income since I'm not near a metal resource. I would build a pioneer and settle
