I downloaded it the other day, and have been pleasantly surprised. It is a good game. Only thing is the empire seems to stomp all over kingdom at every difficulty, but I must be doing something wrong. The overall game though is great, it really addressed most of the issues from the first one. I am enjoying it, and the letter from stardock was a very classy gesture. Thank you guys for reminding me why I do prefer your company.

I was one of those tremendously excited when it first came out, and horribly sad both for Stardock and for my purchase after the original buy. I tried some of the patches and could never get into the game. It was too bland, buggy, and imbalanced. I just tried the latest patch, and to be honest, I couldn't stop playing. It seems solid now.
